12. It is hereby agreed and declared that at the expiration
or other sooner determination of the term hereby granted, the
licensee having paid all the rents hereby reserved, and having
observed and performed all the covenants, provisoes, and con-
ditions herein contained or implied, and on the licensee's
part to be paid, observed, or performed, shall be entitled to
remove from the said foreshore all plant and machinery be-
longing to the said licensee, and all buildings erected by him
and then standing and being thereon, provided the same be
removed within ninety days after the expiration or sooner
determination of the said term.
- And it is hereby further declared that whenever in
these presents any power is to be exercised, or any notice
given, or act or thing done or performed by the Minister, it
shall be sufficient if such power is exercised, notice given, or
act or thing done by some one acting by or under the direction
of the Minister.

Prohibiting Trawling in Bon Accord Harbour, Kawau Island;
and Port Fitzroy and Port Abercrombie Harbours, Great
Barrier Island.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this seventeenth
day of September, 1917.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS it is enacted by the fifth section of the
Fisheries Act, 1908 (hereinafter called "the said
Act"), that the Governor-General in Council may from time
to time make regulations, which shall have general force and
effect throughout the Dominion or particular force and effect
only in any waters or places specified therein, for, amongst
other things, prescribing conditions and restrictions for the
regulating of fishing and the taking of fish, and for prohibiting
the use of any particular engines, tackles, or apparatus for
taking any fish:
And whereas it is desirable to prohibit the taking of fish
by trawling and the use of trawl-nets in those portions of the
sea' defined in the Schedule hereto:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the power and
authority conferred by the said Act, and of all other powers
and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of
the said Dominion, doth hereby make the following regula-
tions for the purposes of the said Act.
REGULATIONS.

No person shall haul or use a trawl-net for the purpose of
taking fish in those portions of the sea as described in the
Schedule hereto. -
Any person committing a breach of clause 1 of these
regulations is liable to a penalty of not loss than £1 and not
exceeding £20.
SCHEDULE.
Bon Accord Harbour, Kawau Island.—Inside a straight line
from Accord Point to Momona Point, as shown in red on plan
marked M.D. 4836, and deposited in the office of the Marine
Department at Wellington.
Port Abercrombie, Great Barrier Island.—Inside a straight
line from the westerly point of Green Island to Wellington
Head, as shown in red on plan marked M.D. 4837, and de-
posited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington.
Port Fitzroy, Great Barrier Island.—Inside a straight line
from the mainland to Selwyn Island across the narrowest
part of Governor's Pass, as shown in red on plan marked
M.D. 4837, and deposited in the office of the Marine Depart-
ment at Wellington.

Sluggish River Drainage District extended.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this sevententh

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of section
three of the Land Drainage Act, 1908, a majority
of the ratepayers in the area described in the First Schedule
hereto, situated in the County of Manawatu, and forming
part of the Oroua Drainage District, have presented a peti-
tion to His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, praying that the land comprised in the said
area be excluded from the said Oroua Drainage District and
included in the Sluggish River Drainage District as consti-
tuted under the provisions of the said Act:
And whereas it is expedient to alter the boundaries of
such drainage districts in manner hereinafter appearing:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power
and authority contained in section three of the Land Drainage
Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Do-
minion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth
hereby alter the boundaries of the said Sluggish River and
Oroua Drainage Districts by excluding from the said Oroua
Drainage District and including in the said Sluggish River
Drainage District the area of land described in the said
petition and in the First Schedule hereto; and doth hereby
declare that the boundaries of the said Sluggish River Drain-
age District, with such addition as herein provided for, shall
be those described in the Second Schedule hereto; and doth
hereby further declare that the boundaries of the said Oroua
Drainage District, with such exclusion as herein provided for,
shall be those described in the Third Schedule hereto.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
AREA EXCLUDED FROM OROUA DRAINAGE DISTRICT AND
INCLUDED IN SLUGGISH RIVER DRAINAGE DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District bounded
towards the north by the road forming the southern bound-
aries of Sections 1, 2, and 3 in Block VIII, Te Kawau Survey
District, towards the east by Section 19 and the Oroua River,
towards the south by Section 25, and towards the west by
the road forming the eastern boundaries of Sections 65 and 24.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
SLUGGISH RIVER DRAINAGE DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District bounded
towards the north-west generally by the Oroua Drainage
District hereinbefore described from the junction of roads at
the south-western corner of Section 74, Block XI, Te Kawau
Survey District, to the Oroua River; thence towards the
east generally by that river to the Foxton - Palmerston North
Railway Reserve; thence towards the south by the said rail-
way reserve to the south-eastern corner of Section 316, Block
XIV, Te Kawau Survey District; thence towards the west
by that section to its north-eastern corner; thence towards
the north by the eastern part of the southern boundary of
Section 314, Block X, across a road, and by Original Sec-
tions 317 and 318, Block XI, Te Kawau Survey District
again towards the west by the last-mentioned section to and
across the road forming the northern boundary of that sec-
tion; thence by the road forming the northern boundaries
of Sections 318 and 317 aforesaid to the place of commence-
ment.
THIRD SCHEDULE.
OROUA DRAINAGE DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District bounded
towards the north generally by Sections 30, 31, 32, 33, 231,
232, 238, and part of 4, Block III, Te Kawau Survey District,
to a point on the western boundary of the last-mentioned
section about 48 chains from its north-western corner; thence
by a right line intersecting the said Section 4 and running
parallel to its southern boundary-line to the road forming the
eastern boundary of that section; thence by a right line to
a point on the eastern boundary-line of Section 5 distant
about 20 chains from its south-eastern corner; thence by a
right line running parallel to the road forming the southern
boundaries of Sections 6, 7, and 8, Block III, Te Kawau
Survey District, to the eastern boundary-line of the last-
mentioned section; thence by that boundary-line to the
westernmost corner of Section 11, Block VII; thence by that
section, the crossing of a road, and by Sections 16 and 19 to
a point on the western boundary-line of the last-mentioned
section, distant about 15 chains from its south - western
corner; thence by a right line running parallel to the road
forming the southern boundaries of Sections 19, 20, 21, and
22 to the eastern boundary-line of the last-mentioned section;
thence by a right line to a point on the north-western bound-
ary-line of Allotment 1 of Section 384, distant about 27 chains
from its south-western corner; thence by the road forming
the north-western boundary of that allotment to Section 304,
Block IV, Te Kawau Survey District; thence by that section
to the road forming the northern boundary of Section 24,
Block I, Kairanga Survey District; thence by that road and
