And whereas compensation in respect to the taking of the
said portion of land has not been paid or awarded:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl
of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in
me by the Public Works Amendment Act, 1909, and of all
other powers enabling me in this behalf, do hereby revoke
so much of the said Proclamation as affects that piece of
land which is described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land not required : 7 acres
2 roods 20 perches.
Portion of Taumatamahoe Block 2B No. 2B, Sub. 14, situated
in Block III, Kiri Survey District (Taranaki R.D.).
In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 42822, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured pink.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor-General and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty's Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this thirtieth day of August, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and seventeen.

Approving the Term of the License granted to the Dominion Lime and Phosphate Company (Limited) by the Bruce County Council for a Tramway from Milburn Station to a Limestone Quarry in Section 34, Block I, Table Hill District.
LIVERPOOL, Governor-General. ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this third day of September, 1917.

His Excellency The Governor-General In Council.
WHEREAS it is provided by section sixteen of the Tramways Act, 1908, that any local authority may from time to time, on the application of any person in that behalf, grant a license to such person to lay down, construct, and maintain a private tramway on, along, or across any street or road under its control, subject to such terms and conditions as such local authority approves, provided that such tramway shall be used only in connection with and for the purposes of the business of such persons, and that such business shall not be the carriage of passengers or goods for hire:
And whereas it is provided by section ten of the Tramways Amendment Act, 1910, that the license may be for such term not exceeding twenty-one years as the Governor-General in Council approves:
And whereas the Dominion Lime and Phosphate Company (Limited), a company duly incorporated under the Companies Act, 1908, and having its registered office at Mersey Street, Gore, has made application to the Bruce County Council for a license to maintain and use a private tramway commencing near the point where the road-line between Sections Twenty-six (26) and Twenty-seven (27), Block Three (III), Tokomai-riro Survey District, joins the Milburn Railway Yard, and extending along the said Section Twenty-seven (27) adjoining the road-line to the south-western corner of Section Thirty-five (35), Block Four (IV), of the same district, thence crossing the said Section Thirty-five (35) and joining the road-line between the said Section Thirty-five (35) and Section Eighteen (18), Block One (I), Table Hill District, at the north-eastern corner of said Section Thirty-five (35), and extending along the said road-line to a point on the said road opposite the south-western corner of Section Twenty-one (21) and part of Section Thirty-four (34), Block One (I), Table Hill District,
shown coloured by a red line on the plan marked P.W.D. 40757, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District:
And whereas the said Council has granted such license for a term of ten years from the first day of January, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen:
And whereas such tramway is to be used by the said company in connection with and for the purposes of its business, and such business is not the carriage of passengers or goods for hire:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power conferred on him as aforesaid, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the aforesaid term.

Consenting io Stopping a Road in Block XI, Tiffin Survey District, Wairarapa South County.
LIVERPOOL, Governor-General. ORDER IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section one hundred and thirty-three (a) of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is enacted that a local authority shall not declare any county road or district road to be stopped until the consent thereto of the Governor-General by Order in Council gazetted, is obtained:
And whereas the Wairarapa South County Council has applied for such consent in respect of the road described in the Schedule hereto:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the above-in-part-recited Act, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Wairarapa South County Council stopping the road described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road permitted to be stopped: 3 roods 8.1 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Section 116, Taratahi Plain Block, Block XI, Tiffin Survey District.
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 42678, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured green.

Declaring Portions of Road in Block XI, Waikohu Survey District, to be Government Roads.
LIVERPOOL, Governor-General. ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this third day of September, 1917.

His Excellency The Governor-General in Council.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become Government roads.
