Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim the land set out in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land.
SCHEDULE.
TAHUROA No. 1f Block: Approximate area, 549 acres 1 rood 36 perches; Cambridge Survey District.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor-General and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-third day of August, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and seventeen.

Proclaiming Native Land to be Crown Land under Section 368 of the Native Land Act, 1909.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section three hundred and sixty-eight of the Native Land Act, 1909 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), it is provided, inter alia, that the Crown may purchase any Native land in pursuance of a resolution of the assembled owners passed and confirmed in accordance with Part XVIII of the said Act, and on the resolution being adopted by the Native Land Purchase Board it shall become a contract of purchase as between the Crown and all persons who are the owners of the land; and the Governor-General may by Proclamation, at any time after the contract of purchase has been so made, declare that the land so purchased is vested in His Majesty the King, and it shall vest accordingly and shall become Crown land:
And whereas a resolution was passed by a meeting of assembled owners, and duly confirmed by the Waikato-Maniapoto District Maori Land Board, that the land set out in the Schedule hereto be sold to the Crown:
And whereas the Native Land Purchase Board duly considered and adopted the resolution:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section three hundred and sixty-eight of the said Act, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare the land set out in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1908.
SCHEDULE.
WHAREPUHUNGA No. 19 Block: Approximate area, 4,500 acres; Wharepapa Survey District.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor-General and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-third day of August, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and seventeen.

Additional Land in Makotuku Survey District taken for the Purposes of the Raetihi Branch of the North Island Main Trunk Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of the Raetihi Branch of the North Island Main Trunk Railway to take further land in Makotuku Survey District, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections thirteen, twenty-nine, and one hundred and eighty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 3 roods 38 perches.
Portion of Ngapakihi Block (Raetihi No. 1), situated in Block VII, Makotuku Survey District.
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 42725, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor-General and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-third day of August, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and seventeen.

WHEREAS it has been found desirable for the use, convenience, or enjoyment of the East Coast Main Trunk Railway (Athenree Section) to take further land in Ohinemuri Survey District, in addition to land previously acquired for the purposes of the said railway:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by sections twenty-nine and one hundred and eighty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes above mentioned.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 21·82 perches.
Being residue of Section 472, Borough of Waihi, situated in Block XVI, Ohinemuri Survey District. (S.O. 19644.)
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 42769, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red, edged blue.
