Prohibiting all Alienation of certain Native Land other than Alienations in favour of the Crown.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this twentieth day of August, 1917.
Present :
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby prohibit, for the period of one year from the date of this Order in Council, all alienations of the Native lands specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienations in favour of the Crown.
SCHEDULE.
NGATITAMATERA Reserve B No 2: Approximate area, 377 acres 2 roods 23 perches; Aroha Survey District.
Ngatitamatera Reserve 1B (otherwise known as Te Aroha Block III, Section 1B): Approximate area, 400 acres; Ohinemuri Survey District.

Portion of Station Road, in the Stoke Road District, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by subsection one of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is, inter alia, provided that the said section shall not apply in any case where the local authority having control of any road or street by resolution declares that the provisions thereof shall not apply to any specified road or street, or any specified part thereof, and such resolution is approved by the Governor-General in Council :
And whereas by subsection two of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is provided that such approval may be either absolute or subject to such conditions with respect to the building-line as the Governor-General by Order in Council thinks fit to impose :
And whereas the Stoke Road Board being the local authority having control of the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto, has passed the following resolution—viz., “That that portion of Station Road adjoining Section 52, Block VII, Waimea Survey District, between the Richmond and Nelson main road and Section 52A in the said block and Survey District is, in the opinion of the Board, of sufficient width for all necessary traffic, and the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act should not apply to this road” :
And whereas it is deemed expedient that such resolution should be approved :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the above-in-part-recited Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the said resolution.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of Station Road, in the Nelson Land District, Stoke Road District, abutting on Section 52 and part 57, Block VII, Waimea Survey District, and extending from Richmond and Nelson main road to Section 52A, Block VII aforesaid. As the said road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 42129, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red.

Recreation Reserve in Auckland Land District brought under Part II of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the twenty-sixth section of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act; and such reserve shall hereafter be known as the Kaitaia Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain.
SCHEDULE.
KAITAIA DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 34 acres 1 rood 39 perches, more or less, being Allotment 69, Parish of Ahipara. Bounded towards the north-east generally by a public road, 904·6 links, by the crossing of the said road, 108 links, by Old Land Claim 7, 406·6 links; again by a public road, the crossing of a road, and by the said public road, 226·5, 126·3, 903·9, and 355·4 links; towards the south-east and south-west by Allotment 60, Ahipara Parish, 1477 and 2116·2 links respectively; and towards the north-west by Allotment 71 of the aforesaid parish, 1306·3 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on plan marked L. and S. 1/475A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
