Sitting of Court for South Island Landless Natives Claims.

Wellington, 7th August, 1917.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Native Land Court will commence hearing the claims of landless Natives at Kaiapoi on Tuesday, 28th August, 1917, and following days, at which place the Court will hear all claims from the district of Canterbury (as per schedule of claims appearing in Kahiti of 19th July, 1917), and is prepared to hear cases from any other district if any applicant is in Court and wishes his case heard there. At the conclusion of this sitting the Court will adjourn to the Otago and Southland districts to hear the cases there, and due notice will be given of the day of hearing at these latter centres in the Gazette.
