Land taken for the Purposes of a Road in Block V, Wharepapa Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for a certain public work—to wit, for the purposes of a road in Block V, Wharepapa Survey District:
And whereas all the conditions precedent required by law to be observed and performed prior to the taking of such land for the purposes hereinbefore specified have been observed and performed:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the said road; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twelfth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 2 acres 1 rood 30 perches.
Portion of O.R.P. Section 4, Block V, Wharepapa Survey District. (S.O. 17648.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 41705, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor-General and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this third day of July, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and seventeen.

Stopping a Government Road in Block V, Kariol Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by paragraph (c) of section one hundred and thirty-three of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor may, by Proclamation publicly notified, stop or alter the course of any Government road or any part thereof:
And whereas the Government road described in the Schedule hereto is no longer required for the purpose of a road:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the above-in-part-recited Act, and of all other powers in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim as stopped the road described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road hereby stopped: 6 acres 0 roods 22 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Section 33, C.L., Block V, Kariol Survey District.

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 42385, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor-General and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this tenth day of July, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and seventeen.

Notice withdrawing Land from a Mining District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by the Mining Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority enabling me in this behalf, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, as from the day of the date hereof, withdraw from the Hauraki Mining District that area of Crown land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing about 108 acres, bounded by a line along the south-eastern boundary of Ruakaka Township, in Block IX, Aroha Survey District, from the road on the right bank of the Waihou River to a point 250 links west of Whittaker Street at the western corner of Allotment 164; thence along a line parallel to and 250 links distant from the western side of Whittaker Street to the southernmost corner of Allotment 146, along the south-eastern boundary of that allotment to and across Whittaker Street, and northward along its eastern side about 2020 links to a public road; thence along the south-eastern side of that road to the boundary between Sections 17B and 17D; thence along that boundary and its production to the north-western side of Emma Street, along the north-western side of that street to Whittaker Street; thence southerly across that street to the easternmost corner of Allotment 1, along the south-eastern boundary of that allotment, and across the Paeroa–Te Aroha Railway to and along the north-western side of Emma Street to Allotment 75 on the north-eastern side of Herries Street; thence along the north-eastern boundaries of Allotments 75, 76, 77, and 78, and along the north-western boundary of the said Allotment 78, and that boundary produced across Herries Street, and to the road along the right bank of the Waihou River, and along the eastern side of that road to the south-eastern boundary of Ruakaka Township, the place of commencement.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor-General and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this sixth day of July, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and seventeen.
