Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.
REGULATION No. 52.
THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Mangawhariki 4A is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Cross Roads (Manutahi) on Saturday, the 10th day of February, 1917, at 2 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—
“ That a lease of Mangawhariki No. 4A Block be given to Hati Whangapirita, of Tuparoa, sheep-farmer, for a term of twenty-one years at a rental not less than 5 per centum per annum of the present valuation of the said land, together with the right to a renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at a rental equal to 5 per centum per annum of the then unimproved valuation of the said land, or with the right to compensation for improvements.”

REGULATION No. 52.
THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Matahia No. 2 is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Cross Roads (Manutahi) on Saturday, the 10th day of February, 1917, at 2 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—
“ That the Matahia No. 2 Block be leased to James Joseph Spratt, of Tuparoa, sheep-farmer, for a term of twenty-one years at a rental not less than 5 per centum per annum of the present valuation of the said land, together with the right to a renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at a rental equal to 5 per centum per annum of the then unimproved valuation of the said land, or with the right to compensation for improvements.”

“ That the said Pahitaua No. 1 Block be sold to Himiona te Owai and Tuhaka Fox, of Waipiro Bay, at a price not less than the Government valuation of the land; or, in the alternative
“ That the said land be leased to Himiona te Owai and Tuhaka Fox for twenty-one years at a rental not less than 5 per centum per annum of the present Government valuation, together with right to renewal for further term of twenty-one years at a rental equal to 5 per centum per annum of the then unimproved value of the land, or with the right to compensation for improvements.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Pukemanuhiri Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Kahukura on Monday, the 12th day of February, 1917, at 9 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—
“ That the Pukemanuhiri Block be leased to Hihi Haerewa, of Waiau, sheep-farmer, for a term of twenty-one years at a rental not less than 5 per centum per annum of the present Government valuation of the said land, together with the right to a renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at an annual rental equal to 5 per centum of the then unimproved Government valuation of the said land, or with the right to compensation for improvements should the lease be not renewed.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Takararoa 2 Block, is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Gisborne on Wednesday, the 28th day of February, 1917, at 11 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—
“ That the Takararoa 2 Block be sold to Agnes Clementina Bowen, wife of James Llewellyn Bowen, at a sum equivalent to the owner’s interest in the said land.”

“ That the Ahirau 2G Block be sold to James Edwin Benson, of Ormond, sheep-farmer, at the price of £156.”
