Part Section 93A: Area, 38 acres 2 roods 16 perches; minimum annual rental, £15.

Undulating to broken land. About 10 acres of high hakea and tea-tree scrub, balance scattered hakea and tea-tree scrub. Soil is yellow friable clay, with patches of pipeclay, resting on sandstone formation. Well watered by small streams. Suitable for fruitgrowing. Distant four miles and a half from Henderson by cart-road.

Section 77: Area, 75 acres; minimum annual rental, £3 15s.

Undulating land, covered with light manuka and fern. Poor clay soil, on pipeclay; poorly watered by swamp. One mile from Makarau Railway-station by formed road.

Undulating to broken land, covered with fern, with bush in gullies. Soil of medium quality, on clay formation; fairly watered by small stream. Distant three miles and a half from Te Rore—a mile and a half by fair road, two miles unformed track.

Altitude, 400 ft. to 500 ft. above sea-level. Fern land, undulating to broken, with a little light mixed bush in gullies. Soil of fair second-class quality, on clay subsoil; fairly watered by small stream. Distant about seven miles from Pirongia, six miles of which is by fair formed road, balance unformed.
