WESTERN TAIERI LAND DRAINAGE BOARD.

RESOLUTION MAKING A SPECIAL RATE.

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that at a meeting of the
Western Taieri Land Drainage Board held this eleventh
day of August, 1916, the following resolution making a special
rate was duly passed :—

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public
Bodies Empowering Act, 1916, the Western Taieri Land
Drainage Board hereby resolves as follows : That, for the
purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a
loan of £20,000, raised in 1910 by the Taieri Drainage Board
under the provisions of the Taieri Land Drainage Act, 1907,
the Western Taieri Land Drainage Board hereby makes and
levies a special rate over all the rateable land in the Western
Taieri Land Drainage District, as follows, namely,—

On all lands in Class “ A ” : Sixteen pence per acre.
On all lands in Class “ B ” : Fourteen pence and four-
teen-fifteenths of a penny per acre.
On all lands in Class “ C ” : Thirteen pence and thirteen-
fifteenths of a penny per acre.
On all lands in Class “ D ” : Twelve pence and four-
fifths of a penny per acre.
On all lands in Class “ E ” : Eight pence per acre.
On all lands in Class “ F ” : Five pence and one-third
of a penny per acre.

And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate
during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on
the fifteenth day of September in each and every year during
the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-one years
and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.

PUBLIC notice is hereby given that at a meeting of the
Western Taieri Land Drainage Board held this eleventh
day of August, 1916, the following resolution making a special
rate was duly passed :—

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that
behalf by the Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public
Bodies Empowering Act, 1916, the Western Taieri Land
Drainage Board hereby resolves as follows : That, for the
purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan
of £7,400 (this being the amount apportioned to the Western
Taieri Land Drainage Board under the provisions of the
Taieri Land Drainage Act, 1910, out of a loan of £20,000,
of which only £11,000 was raised), raised by the Taieri Drain-
age Board in 1909 under the provisions of the Taieri Land
Drainage Act, 1907, the Western Taieri Land Drainage Board
hereby makes and levies a special rate over all the rateable
