Constitution of a Special Roading District in terms of Section 50 of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1913.
PURSUANT to section 50 of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1913, and the regulations thereunder, I do hereby, on the recommendation of the Land Board of the Wellington Land District, declare the lands referred to in the Schedule hereto to be a special district for the purposes of the said section; and such district shall be known as the Oio Special Road District.

THE following notice, received from the Chairman of the Council of the County of Mangonui, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913.

MANGONUI COUNTY.
Notice of Result of Poll on Proposal to raise a Loan.
PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the County of Mangonui taken on Saturday, the 5th day of August, 1916, on the proposal of the Mangonui County Council to borrow the sum of £5,000 for making new roads, culverts, and general road improvements within the said county upon the terms set out in the public notice published in the North Auckland Age newspaper on the 30th day of June, 1916, 7th, 14th, and 21st days of July, 1916, in accordance with the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the number of votes recorded for the proposal was 287, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 79.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

HOBSON COUNTY COUNCIL.
£2,500 Loan.
PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Aratapu Riding of the Hobson County taken on the 10th day of August, 1916, on the proposal to borrow the sum of £2,500 for the purpose of forming and metalling the Aratapu Dargaville Road, the number of votes recorded was as follows: For the proposal, 77; against the proposal, 5; informal, 1.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

WAIROA COUNTY COUNCIL.
PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Mahia and Waikaremoana Ridings of the County of Wairoa taken on Saturday, the 12th day of August, 1916, on the proposal of the Wairoa County Council to borrow the sum of £10,000 for metalling main roads in the above ridings, and for the purchase of two motor-wagons and trailers to carry out such metalling, the number of votes recorded for the proposal was 288, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 120.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

Consent under Section 298 of the Native Land Act, 1909.
IN pursuance of the power conferred upon the Native Minister by subsection (b) of section 298 of the Native Land Act, 1909, I, William Herbert Herries, Native Minister, acting on the recommendation of the Waiariki District Maori Land Board, do hereby consent to a sale of Ranginui No. 2B No. 12 Block, containing 6 acres 3 roods 36 perches, situated in the Provincial District of Auckland, subject to the same restrictions and to the same requirements as to confirmation and otherwise as if the land was not subject to Part XVI of the Native Land Act, 1909.

Consent under Section 298 of the Native Land Act, 1909.
IN pursuance of the power conferred upon the Native Minister by subsection (b) of section 298 of the Native Land Act, 1909, I, William Herbert Herries, Native Minister, acting on the recommendation of the Waiariki District Maori Land Board, do hereby consent to a sale of Papamoa No. 2 Section 6A Block, containing 25 acres 0 roods 34 perches, situated in the Provincial District of Auckland, subject to the same restrictions and to the same requirements as to confirmation and otherwise as if the land was not subject to Part XVI of the Native Land Act, 1909.
