Captain George Henry Hawkins Monk is granted the temporary rank of Major while employed as Principal Medical Officer at Narrow Neck Camp. Dated 4th August, 1916.
The appointment of John Stott Beedie, M.B., C.M., Aberd., as temporary Captain whilst acting as Superintendent of a Hospital in New Zealand during the period of the war, as published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 38, of 6th April, 1916, lapses, as from the 7th July, 1916.

2nd Lieutenant Rupert Walter Westmacott is struck off the strength of the New Zealand Expeditionary Force (Europe), and is transferred to the Reserve of Officers (General List) with the rank of Lieutenant. Dated 5th June, 1916.
