Land proclaimed as a Road, and Road closed, in Parish of Paremoremo, Block III, Waitemata Survey District, Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents of the lessee and mortgagee of the land described in the First Schedule hereto, and of the Waitemata County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a road the land described in the said Schedule; and also do hereby, with the like consents as aforesaid, proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto, which is not required.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
LAND PROCLAIMED AS A ROAD.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road: 1 rood 36 perches.
Portion of Section 277.
Coloured on plan: Red.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
ROAD CLOSED.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 2 acres 1 rood 36·7 perches.
Adjoining Sections 275, 276, and 277.
Coloured on plan: Green.
All situated in the Parish of Paremoremo, Block III, Waitemata Survey District.
All in the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/347, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this seventeenth day of August, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents of the owner of the lands described in the Schedule hereto, and of the Waimate County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said lands are situated, proclaim as roads the lands described in the said Schedule.

Resuming Land for a Site for a Public School in Block V, Woodland Survey District, Otago Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section one hundred and forty-four of the Land Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is, inter alia, enacted that the Governor in Council may by Proclamation resume possession of any land leased under Part III of the said Act, or under any corresponding Part of the Land Act, 1892, which in his opinion is required for any public purpose:
And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of land which is held under occupation with right of purchase license from His Majesty the King issued under the Land Act, 1892, dated the twenty-eighth day of December, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-three:
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required for a public purpose—that is to say, for a site for a public school:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section one hundred and forty-four of the Land Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
