Crown Land set apart for Disposal by Way of Sale or Lease
to Discharged Soldiers, under Special Tenures, in the Auck-
land and Wellington Land Districts.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon
me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settle-
ment Act, 1915, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of
Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand,
do hereby proclaim and declare that the areas of Crown land
described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are
hereby set apart and declared open for disposal by way of
sale or lease to discharged soldiers, under special tenures, in
the manner provided in the said Act

Land District: Area, 310 acres.
Section 200, Parish of Waipareira, Auckland Land District:
Area, 10 acres 1 rood 10 perches.

Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and
Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian
Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in

land and its Dependencies; and issued under
the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Govern-
ment House at Wellington, this third day of

Declaring a Portion of Railway Reserve near Wingatui to
be Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section five of the Public Works Amend-
ment Act, 1909, it is provided that in the case of any
land taken, purchased, or acquired for a Government work,
and not required for that purpose, the Governor may, on
recommendation by the Minister, by Proclamation declare
such land to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1908,
and thereupon the land may be administered and disposed
of under that Act accordingly:
And whereas the parcel of land described in the Schedule
hereto has been, inter alia, acquired for the purposes of the
Waitaki-Bluff Railway: And whereas the said parcel of
land is not now required for the purposes of the Waitaki-
Bluff Railway, and the Minister has recommended that this
Proclamation should be issued declaring such parcel of land
to be Crown land:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of
Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand,
in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred on me by section five of the Public Works Amend-
ment Act, 1909, and of every other power and authority in
anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and
declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be
Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1908.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 16 acres 0 roods 17
perches.
Portion of railway reserve, situated in Irregular Block,
Taieri District, and Block VII, Dunedin and East Taieri
District, Taieri County.
In the Otago Land District; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 23725,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wel-
ington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon
edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right
