Change of Name of Locality and Bay, “German Bay” to “Takamatau.”

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the Board of the Road District of Akaroa-Wainui has, by resolution adopted at an ordinary meeting thereof, requested that the name of the locality situated in the Road District of Akaroa-Wainui and known as “German Bay” be altered to “Takamatau”:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on me by the Designation of Districts Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the name of the locality now known as “German Bay” shall be and the same is hereby altered to “Takamatau,” and do assign the last-mentioned name to such locality accordingly; and also do hereby proclaim and declare that the name of the bay now known as “German Bay” shall be and the same is hereby altered to “Takamatau Bay,” and do assign the last-mentioned name to such bay accordingly; and also do hereby proclaim and declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the first day of November, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, not being earlier than six months after the first publication thereof in the Gazette.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this seventh day of April, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.

Amending a Proclamation proclaiming Land as a Road in Block I, Colville Survey District, Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section five of the Land Act, 1908, it is therein provided that every Proclamation, Order in Council, or other instrument, whether made under any Act in force prior to the commencement of that Act or made under or by virtue of that Act, and all regulations, by-laws, conditions, or rules made by the Governor, the Minister, or any Land Board, may be altered, amended, or revoked from time to time:
And whereas it is necessary to amend a Proclamation issued under the said Act proclaiming land as a road in Block I, Colville Survey District, dated the first day of June, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the eighth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, and hereinafter referred to as “the said Proclamation”:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in me by the said Act, do hereby amend the said Proclamation as follows—namely, by the substitution of the area “0a. 2r. 37p.” for the area “0a. 2r. 27p.,” shown as portion of Crown land in the Schedule to the said Proclamation.
