the following proposed resolution:-
"That the Paritu 2B 2 Block be sold to William Jobson,
jun., at a price equivalent to the Government valuation of
the owners' interest therein."

Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the
Native Land Act, 1909.
REGULATION No. 52.
THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land
District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners
of Nuhaka No. 2c No. 2B is summoned and will be held, in
pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at
Nuhaka on Thursday, the 17th day of August, 1916, at
2 o'clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of considering
the following proposed resolution:-
"That the Nuhaka 2c No. 2B Block be leased to Ree
Tawhiri, of Nuhaka, farmer, for twenty-one years at the
yearly rental equal to 5 per cent. of the Government valuation
of the said land, together with the right to a renewal
for a further term of twenty-one years at yearly rental equal
to 5 per cent. of the then Government unimproved valuation
of the said land, or with the right to compensation for improvements in the event of the renewal not being taken."

REGULATION No. 52.
THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land
District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners
of Whakapau 5E 2 Block is summoned and will be held,
in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909,
at Wairoa on Wednesday, the 16th day of August, 1916,
at 10 o'clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering
the following proposed resolution:-
"That the Whakapau 5E 2 Block be sold to Phillip Henry
Summerfield, of Wairoa, hotelkeeper, at a price equal to the
present Government valuation thereof."

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land
District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners
of Kahotea West No. 2 is summoned and will be held, in
pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at
Wairoa on Wednesday, the 16th day of August, 1916, at
10 o'clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering
the following proposed resolution:-
"That a lease of Kahotea West No. 2 Block be granted
to Pero Hamutana, of Wairoa, farmer, for the term of twenty-
one years at the yearly rental of £20. No right of renewal, and no compensation for improvements to be paid by the
lessors to the lessee on the expiration of the said term."

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land
District notifies that meetings of the owners of Kopua
D, Kopua A, B, C, D, and Ohuia 3 and 4 Blocks will
be held at Wairoa on Wednesday, the 16th day of August,
1916, at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of considering the following applications:-
- Kopua D: Consent to assignment of lease, Bourke to
Carroll and Co. (Limited). - Kopua A, B, C, D: Precedent consent to assignment of
flax-cutting rights from Michael Francis Bourke to Carroll
and Co. (Limited). - Ohuia 3 and 4: Precedent consent to assignment of
lease from Joseph James Carroll to Carroll and Co. (Limited). - Ohuia 3 and 4: Precedent consent to assignment of
flax-cutting rights from Michael Francis Bourke to Carroll
and Co. (Limited).

District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners
of Horowhenua XIB 36, Sub. 37, will be held, in pursuance
of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Levin on
Tuesday, the 15th day of August, 1916, at 11 o'clock in the
forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:-
"That the said land, containing 5 acres, be sold to Grey
Filmer Phillips at the price of £225."

THE Maori Land Board for the Ikaroa Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of
Horowhenua XIB 36 No. 2J A will be held, in pursuance of
Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Levin on
Tuesday, the 15th day of August, 1916, at 11 o'clock in the
forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:-
"That the said land, containing 8 acres, be leased to Grey
Filmer Phillips for a term of twenty-one years at a rental of
£16 4s. per annum for the first ten years of the term, and
thereafter for the remainder of the term at a yearly rental
equal to 5 per cent. on the Government valuation to be made at the expiration of the first ten years."
