THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

Front main Karamea-Seddonville Road. Gently sloping to steep country; poor homestead-sites, owing to there being no flat land; fair soil, limestone and papa formation. All forest, consisting of mixed birch, few rimu, white-pine, miro, underscrub.

Section 26 about a mile and three-quarters from Te Namu Post-office and two miles and a half from a school. Section 27 two miles and a half from Te Namu Post-office and three miles and a quarter from a school.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty's Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-second day of July, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.

Crown Lands set apart for Disposal by Way of Sale or Lease to Discharged Soldiers, under Special Tenures, in the Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the areas of Crown lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby set apart and declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease to discharged soldiers, under special tenures, in the manner provided in the said Act.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents of the owners, lessees, and mortgagees of the land described in the First Schedule hereto, and of the Moa Road Board, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a road the land in Egmont Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby, with the like consents as aforesaid, proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto, which is not required by reason of the road described in the First Schedule hereto.
