NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us, the undersigned, carrying on business as Hairdressers at No. 69 Princes Street, Dunedin, and in the Stock Exchange Building in Dunedin, under the style or firm of “Rose & Muir,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the twenty-seventh day of June, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

THE Partnership relation in respect of all matters in which JOSEPH RAWHIRA PAKU, formerly of Dannevirke and Waipukurau, Licensed Interpreter and Land Agent, and HEMI KIREKA RAPAEA, of Dannevirke and Porangahau, Licensed Interpreter, have heretofore carried on business at Waipukurau or elsewhere has been dissolved by the said Hemi Kireka Rapaea as from the 20th day of June, 1916.

RANGITIKEI COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.—LOAN OF £650.—PUKEPAPA NO. 2.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Rangitikei County Council hereby resolves as follows:—

“That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £650, authorized to be raised by the Rangitikei County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of metalling the Pukepapa and Stuart’s Roads from their junction with the Bull’s-Turakina Road to their junction with the Lake Alice Road, and to metal a distance of about eight chains on the said Lake Alice Road, and the cost of raising the loan to be paid out of the loan, the said Rangitikei County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of seven-twentieths of a penny (7/20d.) in the pound sterling upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property of the Pukepapa No. 2 Special-rating District, comprising Lot 1, being part Section 48 (46 ac. 2 r. 3 p.); Lot 3, being part Section 47 (141 ac. 3 r. 17 p.); Lot 5, being part Sections 44 and 47 (64 ac. 3 r. 34·9 p.); Lot 6, being parts Sections XI, 44, 62, and 66 (272 ac. 0 r. 3·6 p.); all the above being part Lake Alice Land Settlement Association, D.P. 2885; part Section 44 (15 ac. 1 r. 2 p.); parts Sections 39, 43, and 44, and part closed road (100 acres); parts Sections 39, 43, and 65 (138 ac. 3 r. 1 p.); parts Sections XI, 39, 43, 44, 62, 65, and part closed road (271 ac. 3 r. 33 p.); Lot 4A, being parts Sections 66 and 74 (212 ac. 2 r. 13 p.); and parts Sections XI, 66, and 74 (511 acres): the whole being contained within Block VI, Rangitoto Survey District, and as shown upon the map attached to the ratepayers’ consent to the said loan. And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of May in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.”

I, Bennet Perry Lethbridge, Chairman of the Rangitikei County Council, do hereby certify that the above is a true copy of a resolution passed at a special meeting of the Council held on the 8th day of July, 1916.

The common seal of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Rangitikei was affixed hereto this 8th day of July, 1916, in the presence of—
