LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICES.

EVIDENCE of the loss of Lease No. 208221, in favour of MARY ELANOR GORRIE, of Auckland, Spinster, for part of a block situated in the Maioro Survey District called Te Akau A No. 4, having been lodged with me, and application made to register a partial surrender of the said lease, notice is hereby given of my intention to register the said partial surrender of lease accordingly at the expiration of fourteen days from the 20th July, 1916.

RECONSTRUCTION OF COMPANY.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908; and in the matter of the DUNLOP RUBBER COMPANY OF AUSTRALASIA (LIMITED).

NOTICE is hereby given that the Dunlop Rubber Company of Australasia (Limited) is being reconstructed, and will voluntarily cease to do business in New Zealand on the first day of November, 1916.

With reference to the above notice a new company called the “Dunlop Rubber Company of Australasia (Limited)” has been incorporated, and will take over all the assets and liabilities of the old company. The new company proposes to carry on business in the Dominion of New Zealand at Number 95 Courtenay Place, in the City of Wellington, and at 116 Worcester Street, Christchurch.

WHAKATANE HARBOUR BOARD.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE AS SECURITY FOR LOAN OF £36,000.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Whakatane Harbour Board hereby resolves as follows:—

That, for the purpose of providing interest and annual charges on a loan of £36,000, authorized to be raised by the Whakatane Harbour Board, under the Whakatane Harbour Act, 1912, the Whakatane Harbour Amendment and Empowering Act, 1915, the Whakatane Foreshore Reclamation Act, 1908, and its amendments, the Harbours Act, 1908, and its amendments, and the said the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the following purposes—

(a.) The carrying-out of further harbour-improvement works in accordance with the plans approved of by the Governor in Council, the purchase of plant, erection of a wharf down the river should it be found necessary, the preparation of necessary plans and the supervision of the aforesaid works, and all other matters incidental or subsidiary thereto;

(b.) The reclaiming of an area of the Whakatane Foreshore for subdivision into lots for leasing, and the laying-off of the necessary streets;

(c.) The redemption of debentures numbered 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 issued pursuant to a resolution of the Board dated the 9th day of June, 1913, and of a poll of the ratepayers taken under the said the Whakatane Harbour Act, 1912;
