Notice published pursuant to the Provisions of Section 15 of the Public Trust Office Act, 1908, and Sections 18 and 19 of the Public Trust Office Amendment Act, 1913.
NOTICE is hereby given that, no person having taken out administration, the Public Trustee has filed, in the office of the Supreme Court at Wellington, an election to administer the several estates of the persons deceased whose names, residences, and occupations (so far as known) are hereunder respectively set forth, their gross properties being estimated not to exceed £400 in each case.

Importation of Hops to the United Kingdom.

IT is hereby notified for general information that although the prohibition of the importation of hops to the United Kingdom applies to all hops, special licenses will be issued by the Board of Trade, London, for the importation of specific quantities, as occasion requires, of hops which are the produce of the British Dominions.
On issue of a license the exporter should forward to the consignee an invoice for such hops bearing a certificate in the following form :—
This is to certify that the hops specified in this invoice are the produce of New Zealand.

Goods prohibited to be Imported to the United Kingdom.

IT is notified for general information that a Proclamation was issued on the 27th June, 1916, by the Imperial Government prohibiting the importation to the United Kingdom, except under license of the Board of Trade, of the undermentioned goods, in addition to those enumerated in lists dated 30th May, 1916, and 12th June, 1916, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of 1st June, 1916, and 15th June, 1916, respectively :—
Such motor-car or chassis parts and accessories (other than tires) as were exempted from previous prohibition (see notice dated 30th May, 1916, published in the New Zealand Gazette of 1st June, 1916).
Vacuum cleaners.
Yeast.
The Board of Trade, London, state that licenses will be granted for commercial motor vehicles where the goods were en route for the United Kingdom or paid for at the date of the Proclamation, or where importation is desirable in the national interests; and for spare parts of imported commercial vehicles already in the United Kingdom.
Licenses for yeast will be granted up to about half the amount imported during 1915. Licenses for vacuum cleaners will be granted only if the goods were en route or paid for at the date of the Proclamation.
