NOTICE OF SPECIAL RESOLUTION TO WIND UP.
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1903; and in the
matter of the AUTOMATIC BAKERIES CHRISTCHURCH
(LIMITED).
AT an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named
company duly convened and held at Gould, Beaumont,
& Co., Hereford St., Christchurch, on the 26th day of April,
1916, the following special resolution was duly passed, and at
a subsequent extraordinary general meeting of the above-
named company duly convened and held at Gould, Beaumont,
& Co., Hereford St., Christchurch, on May 25th, 1916, the
following resolution was duly confirmed, viz. :—
"That the company named Automatic Bakeries Christ-
church (Ltd.) be wound up; and at such last-mentioned
meeting DAVID JONES, of Tennyson Street, Christchurch, was
appointed Liquidator for the purpose of the winding-up."

TAURANGA COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE AS SECURITY FOR A
SPECIAL LOAN OF £600.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the
Tauranga County Council resolves as follows :—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £600, authorized to be raised by the
Tauranga County Council, under the above-mentioned Act,
for grading and metalling main roads in the Katikati Riding
of the County of Tauranga, the said Tauranga County Council
hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-eighth of a
penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable
property in the Katikati Riding; and that such special rate
shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such
loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of February
and the 1st day of August in each and every year during
the currency of such loan, being a period of 364 years, or
until the loan is fully paid off.
I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of a
resolution passed by the Tauranga County Council at a meet-
ing held on the 6th day of June, 1916.

WELLINGTON CITY COUNCIL.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.
IN the matter of the Public Works Act, 1908, and the
Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, and their amend-
ments.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the City of
Wellington proposes, under the provisions of the
above-named Acts and all other Acts and powers enabling
it in that behalf, to execute a certain public work—namely,
the provision of a catchment area for the reservoirs at Wainui-
o-mata and the provision of waterworks for the City of Wel-
lington; and for the purpose of such public work the lands
described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken.
And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land
so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of
the Town Clerk to the said Council, in the Town Hall, Cuba
Street, in the said city, and is there open for inspection (with-
out fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours; and that
all persons affected by the execution of the said public work
or the taking of such lands should, if they have well-grounded
objections to the execution of the said public work or to the
taking of the said lands, set forth the same in writing, and
send such writing, within forty days from the first publica-
tion of this notice, to the Wellington City Council, addressed
to the Town Clerk at his said office.

59 acres 1 rood, being part of Section 7, D.P. 983; coloured
red on plan; situate in Block VII, Rimutaka S.D.
25 acres 1 rood, being part of Section 8, D.P. 983; coloured
blue on plan; situate in Block XV, Belmont S.D.
In the Land District of Wellington; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan above mentioned.
