Declaring Portions of Road in Block VI, Waikaka District,
to be a Government Road.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this fifth day of
June, 1916.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by
the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in
anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the
Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the
portions of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on
and after the date of this Order in Council, become a
Government road.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of road declared a Govern-
ment road: 10 acres 1 rood 30·2 perches and 2 roods 20·8
perches.

Adjoining or passing through Section 29, Block VI, Waikaka
District (Southland R.D.).

In the Southland Land District; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 40244,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and
thereon coloured green.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Weber Domain.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this fifth day of
June, 1916.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and
Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said
Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to
time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such
persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain
Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of
such domain:

And whereas by an Order in Council made on the twenty-
first day of June, one thousand nine hundred and nine,
and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-
fourth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and nine, a
Domain Board was appointed to control the Weber Domain:

And whereas the period for which the said Board was
appointed expired on the twentieth day of June, one thou-
sand nine hundred and sixteen:

And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a
Domain Board to control the domain:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the
Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers con-
ferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby appoint

CLAUDE HAROLD CHARLES JAMES HALES,
JOHN RICE,
ANDREW ROBERTSON,
JENS ROSENBECK, and
KENNETH FORBES CAMERON

to be the Weber Domain Board, having the control of the
land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of
and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth
hereby appoint Thursday, the thirteenth day of July, one
thousand nine hundred and sixteen, at seven o’clock p.m.,
as the time when, and the Public Library, Weber, as the
place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

WEBER DOMAIN, WEBER COUNTY.

ALL that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing
by admeasurement 10 acres 0 roods 30 perches, more or less,
being Section No. 51, Block V, Weber Survey District.
Bounded towards the north-east by the Dannevirke-Weber
Road, 976·7 links; towards the south-east by Section No. 52,
1251·9 links; towards the south-west by Section No. 50,
910 links; and towards the north-west by Section No. 49,
960·6 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the
same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1239. deposited in
the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and
thereon bordered pink.

Native Land in Block XIII, Coromandel Survey District,
taken for the Purposes of a Road.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this fifth day of
June, 1916.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto
is Native land, and is required to be taken under
the Public Works Act, 1908, for the purposes of a road:
And whereas the said land is held or occupied by Native
owners under a title which is not derived from the Crown:
And whereas a map of the said land has been prepared in
duplicate, as required by section ninety of the Public Works
Act, 1908:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers
vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other
powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency
the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said Dominion, doth hereby proclaim and declare that the land
shown upon such map, and described in the Schedule hereto,
is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and the said land
shall vest in His Majesty the King as from the tenth day
of July, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 28 perches,
being Customary land situated in Block XIII, Coromandel
Survey District (S.O. 18149).

In the Land District of Auckland; as the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 39328,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at
Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington, and
thereon coloured red.

Exchanging Portion of a Reserve in Block XIV, Wataroa
Survey District, Westland Land District, for other Land.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this fifth day
of June, 1916.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS the land described in the First Schedule
hereto forms portion of a reserve heretofore duly
set apart for a cemetery, being a reserve within Class I of the
Second Schedule to the Public Reserves and Domains Act,
1908 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”): And
whereas by section four of the said Act the Governor is
authorized, inter alia, to exchange any such reserve for other
land of equal value, to be dedicated to the same or one or
more of the purposes comprised in the said Class I, and to
define the purpose to which such reserve or such land acquired
in exchange shall be dedicated: And whereas in the opinion
of the Governor it is expedient to exchange the said portion
of the cemetery reserve for other land of equal value described
in the Second Schedule hereto, to be dedicated as hereinafter
provided:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Do-
minion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and
in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities con-
ferred upon him by section four of the said Act, doth hereby
declare that the portion of the cemetery reserve described in
the First Schedule hereto is hereby exchanged for the Crown
land described in the Second Schedule hereto, which, in the
opinion of the Governor, is of equal value; and doth also
