Proclaiming Native Land to be Crown Land under Section 374
of the Native Land Act, 1909.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section three hundred and seventy-four
of the Native Land Act, 1909 (hereinafter referred to
as “the said Act”), and by section fourteen of the Native
Land Amendment Act, 1914, it is provided, inter alia, that,
on being satisfied that the purchase of any Native land has
been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under
the authority of the said Act, the Governor may issue a
Proclamation that such land has become Crown land :
And whereas the purchase of the Native land set out in the
Schedule hereto has been duly completed by or on behalf of
the Crown under the authority of the said Act :
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and
authority conferred upon me by section three hundred and
seventy-four of the said Act, and by section fourteen of the
Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, I, Arthur William
de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the
Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim the land set
out in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land.

SCHEDULE.

TAWHITINUI Grant 3824, West Coast Settlement Reserves,
being Section 81, Block I, Opunake Survey District, con-
taining by admeasurement 13 acres, more or less.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right
Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile,
Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the
Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and
Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian
Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in
and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zea-
land and its Dependencies; and issued under
the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Govern-
ment House at Wellington, this thirty-first day of
May, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine
hundred and sixteen.

Land proclaimed as a Road, and Road closed, in Block XII,
Kopuaranga Survey District, Masterton County.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur Wil-
liam de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the
Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents
of the owners and mortgagees of the land described in the
First Schedule hereto, and of the Masterton County
Council, being the local authority in whose district the said
land is situated, proclaim as a road the land in Kopuaranga
Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto;
and also do hereby, with the like consents as aforesaid, pro-
claim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule
hereto, which is not required by reason of the road
described in the First Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE.
LAND PROCLAIMED AS A ROAD.
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land proclaimed as a
road :—
1·7 perches, portion of Section 5; coloured red.
2 roods 21·5 perches, portion of Sec. 5; coloured yellow.
9 perches, portion of Section 76, being part Lot 1 on
D.P. 2335 (Whareama R.D.); coloured purple.
0·001 perch, portion of Section 5; coloured red.

SECOND SCHEDULE.
ROAD CLOSED.
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of road closed :—
1 rood 22·9 perches, adjoining or passing through part
Section 5.
19·7 perches, adjoining or passing through part Section
76, being part Lot 1 on D.P. 2335 (Whareama R.D.).
1·73 perches, adjoining or passing through part Sec. 5.
Coloured on plan : Green.

All situated in Block XII, Kopuaranga Survey District.
All in the Wellington Land District; as the same are
more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D.
39656, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public
Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District,
and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur Wil-
liam de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the
Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents
of the owners and mortgagees of the land described in the
First Schedule hereto, and of the Devonport Borough
Council, being the local authority in whose district the
said land is situated, proclaim as a street the land in
Rangitoto Survey District, described in the First Schedule
hereto; and also do hereby, with the like consents as afore-
said, proclaim as closed the street described in the Second
Schedule hereto. which is not required by reason of the
street described in the First Schedule hereto.

2 roods 6·56 perches and 24·04 perches, portions of Sec-
tion 2, Takapuna Parish. Coloured blue on plan.
