Disbandment of a Defence Rifle Club.

HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to approve
of the disbandment, under section 43 (1) and (2),
and section 44 of the Defence Act, 1909, of the under-
mentioned Defence Rifle Club :—

The Pohokura Defence Rifle Club,
with headquarters at Pohokura, Stratford (Wellington Military
District).
Date of disbandment, 18th April, 1916.

Special Order made by the Taranaki County Council altering
Boundaries of Moa Road District.

THE following special order, made by the Taranaki County
Council, is published in accordance with the provisions
of the Counties Act, 1908.

COUNTY OF TARANAKI.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on it by
section 10 of the Road Boards Act, 1908, and section 34 of
the Counties Amendment Act, 1913, the Council of the County
of Taranaki resolves, by way of special order, that the portion
of the Moa Road District as described in the Schedule here-
under be annexed to the adjoining outlying district of the
Mangorei Riding of the County of Taranaki, and cease to
form part of the Moa Road District as from the date of the
coming into force of this special order—namely, 31st March,
1917.

Schedule.

All that area in the Provincial District of Taranaki bounded
as follows : Commencing from a point the summit of Mount
Egmont; thence bounded generally towards the north-west
by a right line to the source of the Waiwakaiho Stream;
thence by a line along the middle of the Waiwakaiho Stream
to a point where the Waiwakaiho Stream is intercepted by
the Junction Road; thence along the northern boundary of
the said Junction Road to the Waiongona Stream; thence
generally towards the south-west by the east side of the
Waiongona Stream to the Bedford Road; thence by the north
side of the Bedford Road to a point in line with the north-
west boundary of Section 1, Block 8, Egmont Survey District;
thence by a right line across the Bedford Road and the north-
west and part of the south-west boundaries of the said Sec-
tion 1 to the northern corner of Section 14, Block 7, Egmont
Survey District; thence by the north-west boundaries of
Sections 14, 15, 16, 18, 19, and 20, Block 7, Egmont Survey
District, to the Cambridge Road; thence by the northern
side of the Cambridge Road to a point in line with the north-
west boundary of Section 1, Block 11, Egmont Survey Dis-
trict; thence by a right line across the Cambridge Road and
the north-west boundary of the said Section 1; thence to the
south-west corner to same Section 1; thence by a right line
to the summit of Mount Egmont, the commencing-point.

The foregoing resolution, intended to operate as a special
order, will be submitted for confirmation at the ordinary
meeting of the Council at 11 a.m. on Monday, the 7th Feb-
ruary, 1916.

Result of Poll for Proposed Loan.
Wellington, 28th April, 1916.

THE following notice, received from the Chairman of the
County of Kawhia, is published in accordance with
the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913.

KAWHIA COUNTY COUNCIL.
Notice of Result of Poll.

PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act,
1913, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers
of the County of Kawhia taken on the 5th day of April, 1916,
on the proposal of the Kawhia County Council to borrow the
sum of £800 for the construction of a wharf, with shed and
approaches, at Kawhia, and to expend the loan of £1,000
already raised for the extension of the present wharf and
shed at Kawhia, together with the said sum of £800, in the
construction of a new wharf, with shed and approaches, the
number of votes recorded for the proposal was 77, and the
number of votes recorded against the proposal was 1.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.
Dated at Kawhia this 12th day of April, 1916.

THE following notice, received from the Chairman of the
County of Hokianga, is published in accordance with
the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913.

HOKIANGA COUNTY COUNCIL.
Proposed Horeke Loan, £400.—Notice of Result of Poll on
Proposal to raise a Loan.

PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act,
1913, I hereby give notice that a poll of the ratepayers of the
Horeke Riding was taken on the 6th day of April, 1916, on
the proposal of the Hokianga County Council to borrow the
sum of £400 for the purpose of metalling the Okaihau to
Horeke Road.

The number of votes recorded for the proposal was fifteen
(15); the number of votes recorded against the proposal was
five (5).
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.
Dated this 7th day of April, 1916.

Drainage Board, is published in accordance with the
provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913.

WOODLANDS DRAINAGE BOARD.
Result of Poll for Proposed Loan.

PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act,
1913, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers
in that portion of the Woodlands Drainage District known
as the Woodlands Special-rating Area, taken on the 6th day
of April, 1916, upon the proposal of the Woodlands Drainage
Board to borrow the sum of £1,000 for the purpose of widen-
ing and deepening main drains, the number of votes recorded
for the proposal was 7, and the number of votes recorded
against the proposal was nil.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.
