Declaring certain Area added to the County of Kairanga to be included in Fitzherbert Riding thereof.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by a Proclamation dated the eleventh day of March, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the sixteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, the boundaries of the Counties of Kairanga and Horowhenua were altered by the exclusion of a certain area from the County of Horowhenua and the inclusion of such area in the County of Kairanga: And whereas it is desirable that the area so added to the County of Kairanga should be included in the Fitzherbert Riding of that county:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section twenty-two of the Counties Act, 1908, do hereby declare that the area included as aforesaid in the County of Kairanga shall be included in the Fitzherbert Riding of the said county, and that the boundaries of that riding shall be those set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
BOUNDARIES OF FITZHERBERT RIDING, COUNTY OF KAIRANGA.
ALL that area in the Kairanga County bounded by a line along the middle of the Manawatu River from the northern boundary of Horowhenua County to the northern boundary of Kairanga County, along the northern boundary of that county to the north-western corner of Pahiatua County, thence along the boundary between Kairanga and Pahiatua Counties to Horowhenua County, and along the boundary between Horowhenua and Kairanga Counties to the middle of the Manawatu River, the place of commencement.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-ninth day of April, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.

Lands set apart for Disposal by Way of Sale or Lease to Discharged Soldiers, under Special Tenures, in the Otago Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby set apart and declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease to discharged soldiers, under special tenures, in the manner provided in the said Act.
SCHEDULE.
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.
Crown Land.
ALL that area in the Otago Land District, containing by admeasurement 21,100 acres, more or less, being Runs 536, 537, 538, 539, 540, 541, 542, 557, 558, 559, 560, 561, 562, 563, and 564, Ahuriri, Benmore, and Ohau River Survey Districts, and bounded as follows: Commencing at the south-east corner of Run 534; thence towards the west generally by Runs 534, 535, and a proposed afforestation reserve; towards the north, west, and again towards the north by Run 543; towards the east and south by a public road; again towards the east by a tree-planting reserve; towards the south and south-east generally by a chain-wide reserve along the north bank of the Ahuriri River, a tree-planting reserve, and again by the reserve along the north bank of the Ahuriri River to the point of commencement: excepting from the above-described boundaries three public roads, each one chain wide; and three gravel reserves.
