Notice of the Taking and Laying-off of a Road in Block XVI, Patetere North Survey District, Auckland Land District.
NOTICE is hereby given, by direction of His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, under the authority of section 213 of the Land Act, 1908, that the road described in the Schedule hereto was on the 20th day of November, 1915, duly taken and laid off through the land specified in the said Schedule, under the authority of the Governor of the said Dominion, by Warrant dated the 11th day of November, 1915.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken for a road: 14 acres 3 roods 30 perches.
Portion of Small Grazing-run 106, Block XVI, Patetere North Survey District.
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked 18246, deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Auckland, and thereon coloured sienna.

Notice of Result of Poll on Proposal to raise a Loan.
PURSUANT to section 12 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, I hereby give notice that a poll of the ratepayers of the Taradale Town Board was taken on the 8th day of December, 1915, on the proposal of the Taradale Town Board to borrow £2,000 (the sum of two thousand pounds) for the purpose of the purchase of the freehold of Lot 28, Subsection 54, Meeanee District, and the freehold of part (33 ft. strip) of Lot 8, Subsection 54, Meeanee District, of a total area of 5 acres 2 roods 8½ perches, for the purpose of a public recreation-ground.
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 64. The number of votes recorded against the proposal was 71.
I therefore declare that the proposal was rejected.
