Consenting to stopping Roads in Block XIV, Oroua Survey District, Manawatu County.

At the Government House at Wellington, this seventeenth day of April, 1916.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section one hundred and thirty-three (a) of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is enacted that a local authority shall not declare any county road or district road to be stopped until the consent thereto of the Governor, by Order in Council gazetted, is obtained:
And whereas the Manawatu County Council has applied for such consent in respect of the roads described in the Schedule hereto:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the above-in-part-recited Act, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Manawatu County Council stopping the roads described in the Schedule hereto.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of roads permitted to be stopped:—

Confirmation of Scheme for Consolidation of Interests in Native Land.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this seventeenth day of April, 1916.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section one hundred and thirty of the Native Land Act, 1909, it is enacted that the Governor, if satisfied that any scheme of consolidation of the interests of owners of Native freehold land submitted to him by the Native Land Court is just and equitable and is in the public interest, may by Order in Council confirm such scheme:
And whereas a scheme of consolidation of interests of owners in the lands mentioned in the Schedule hereto was, under an order of the Native Land Court dated the twenty-third day of February, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, submitted to and approved by the Governor on the eleventh day of March, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen:
And whereas it is just and equitable and is in the public interest that such scheme should be confirmed by Order in Council:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred on him by section one hundred and thirty of the Native Land Act, 1909, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby confirm the said scheme.

Declaring Portion of Shea Road, in the Kawhia County, to be a County Road.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this seventeenth day of April, 1916.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of Shea Road, in the Auckland Land District, in the Kawhia County, commencing at the road junction in the northern corner of Section 7, Block X, Karioi Survey District, and proceeding in a south-easterly and then south-westerly direction generally through the said Section 7 and Section 10, Block X, Karioi Survey District, and terminating in the southernmost corner of the latter section, a distance of 1 mile 46 chains, or thereabouts. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 39898, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red and lettered A B.

Declaring Portion of Kahuwera Road, in the Waitomo County, to be a County Road.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this seventeenth day of April, 1916.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of the Kahuwera Road, in the Auckland and Taranaki Land Districts, Waitomo County, commencing at its junction with the Wairere Road, and proceeding thence in an easterly direction generally, passing through Karu-o-te-whenua No. 5c No. 2, Block XI, Otanake Survey District, across the Mokau River, and adjoining or passing through Sections 1 and 2, Block III, Sections 3, 6, 14, 15, and part 18, Block IV, Totoro Survey District, to its junction with the Mapara Road; being a distance of 4 miles 47 chains, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 39953, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red.
