Authorizing the Sale of Part of Allotment 170, Oruawharo Parish, under Section 21 of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1915.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section twenty-one of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1915, it is provided that the Governor, by Proclamation, may authorize the trustees of the Port Albert Agricultural Show-ground to sell by public auction the land described in the Schedule hereto on such terms and conditions as he deems fit: And whereas it is desired to sell the said land by public auction at Messrs. A. Buckland and Sons’ Saleyards at Welsford, at the upset price of thirty-five pounds:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authority conferred upon me by section twenty-one of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies’ Empowering Act, 1915, and all other powers and authorities enabling me in that behalf, hereby declare that the said lands may be sold by public auction at the saleyards of Messrs. Buckland and Sons at Welsford, on a date to be fixed by the trustees; and hereby proclaim and declare that prior to the sale of the said land due notice of intention to sell shall be advertised in one newspaper circulating in the district, and due notice of sale as aforesaid shall be given for at least fourteen days prior to the date of the sale.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing 5 acres, more or less, being part of Allotment 170, Oruawharo Parish. Bounded towards the north-east by part of Allotment 157, Oruawharo Parish, 1020 links; towards the south-east by a public road, 500 links; towards the south-west by other part of Allotment 170 of the aforesaid parish, 1020 links; and towards the north-west by other part of Allotment 170 aforesaid, 500 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/1222, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-first day of March, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.

WHEREAS by section sixty-three of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1913, it is, amongst other things, enacted that in no case shall any moneys be expended under the provisions of the said section sixty-three in connection with any block of land, unless that block is set apart for selection under that section pursuant to Proclamation in that behalf:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of every power and authority enabling me in this behalf, and for the purposes of the aforesaid Act, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim the land described in the Schedule hereto as set apart for selection.
SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
Okawhao Additional Block.
Sections 21–31 (inclusive), Block XI, Rangiriri Survey District: Area, 631 acres 3 roods 36 perches.
As the same is delineated upon the plan marked L. and S. 5/43, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
