Notice respecting Proposed Mangawara Drainage District, County of Waikato.

Department of Internal Affairs,
Wellington, 1st March, 1916.

IT is hereby notified that a petition has been presented to His Excellency the Governor, under the Land Drainage Act, 1908, praying that the area described in the Schedule hereto may be constituted a drainage district by name the Mangawara Drainage District. All persons affected are hereby called upon to lodge any written objections to or petitions against the proposed constitution which they desire to lodge within one month from the first publication of this notice, such objections or petitions to be addressed to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington.

SCHEDULE.

PROPOSED MANGAWARA DRAINAGE DISTRICT.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District bounded by a line commencing at Pukemore Trig. Station No. 676A; thence along a right line to the road at the south-eastern corner of Section 390, Taupiri Parish, along that road to the northern boundary of Block XII, Rangiriri Survey District; thence due east to the road near the southernmost corner of Section 348, along that road to and along the south-western boundary of the said Section 348 to the junction of roads at the easternmost corner of Section 349; thence north-easterly to the junction of roads on the south-western boundary of Section 280, along the road intersecting that section to the junction of roads at the westernmost corner of Section 23, along the road forming the southern boundary of that section, along the western and south-western boundaries of Section 24, the abutment of a road, and the south-western boundaries of Sections 25 and 26 to the Matahuru Stream, along that stream to the road forming the western boundary of Section 241, along that road and the road running south-easterly fronting Sections 197, 199, 202, 204, and 206, to Section 324, along the road forming the western boundary of Section 324, along the western and southern boundaries of Section 331 and the western boundary of Section 342 to its southernmost corner; thence along the road forming the south-eastern boundary of that section and the road forming the south-eastern boundary of Section 467 to the Mangawara Stream, along that stream westward to the road at the north-western corner of Section 151; thence along that road running northward past Sections 188, 189, 190, 192, and 193, and the road along the northern boundaries of Sections 193, 194, and 196, along the western boundary of Section 196 to its south-western corner, and thence along a right line to Trig. Station Pukemore, the place of commencement.

Notice respecting Proposed Alteration of Boundaries, Te Rapa Drainage District, County of Waipa.

Wellington, 1st March, 1916.

IT is hereby notified that a petition has been presented to His Excellency the Governor, under the Land Drainage Act, 1908, praying that the area described in the Schedule hereto may be included in the Te Rapa Drainage District. All persons affected are hereby called upon to lodge any written objections to or petitions against the proposed inclusion which they desire to lodge, within one month from the first publication of this notice, such objections or petitions to be addressed to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington.

SCHEDULE.

AREA TO BE INCLUDED IN TE RAPA DRAINAGE DISTRICT.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District bounded towards the north-west generally by the road forming the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 126, 125, 124, and 123, Block XII, Newcastle Survey District, from the northern boundary of Te Rapa Drainage District, as described in the New Zealand Gazette of the 23rd January, 1908, page 270, to Section 118, across the said road, and by Sections 123 and 115 to a public road; towards the north-east by the road forming the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 116, 117, 118, 118A, and 119; and towards the south generally by Te Rapa Drainage District aforesaid.

Notice of Intention to take Land in Block XIV, Woodville Survey District, for Road Purposes.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, to execute a certain public work—to wit, the construction of a road in Block XIV, Woodville Survey District; and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Woodville, and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.
