In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908, and in the matter of the Totara Leather Company (Limited), a company incorporated in England but carrying on business in New Zealand, and in the matter of a petition bearing date the twenty-fifth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, presented to this Honourable Court by John Holt, of Hastings, in the Provincial District of Hawke’s Bay, Timber-merchant, and Robert Holt, of Napier, in the said provincial district, Timber-merchant, praying that the Totara Leather Company (Limited) may be wound up by this Honourable Court under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1908.—Tuesday, the eighth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, before the Honourable Sir Robert Stout, K.C.M.G., Chief Justice.
UPON reading the petition of John Holt, of Hastings, in the Provincial District of Hawke’s Bay, timber-merchant, and Robert Holt, of Napier, in the said Provincial district, timber-merchant, creditors of the above-named Totara Leather Company (Limited), which petition bears date the twenty-fifth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, and was presented to this Honourable Court on the thirty-first day of January, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen; and upon reading the motion paper filed herein and the affidavits of the said John Holt and Robert Holt, verifying the said petition, and the affidavits of Edward Heathcote Williams, John Augustus Fraser, and Charles Christian Andrew Ibbetson, sworn and filed herein; and upon hearing Mr. Gray, K.C., of counsel for the petitioners, and with the consent of Edward Heathcote Williams, of Hastings, aforesaid, solicitor attorney in New Zealand for the said Totara Leather Company (Limited), as shown in the said affidavit of the said Edward Heathcote Williams, and the Court dispensing with the advertisement of the said petition:
It is ordered that the said Totara Leather Company (Limited) be wound up by this Court under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1908, and that the petitioners’ costs of and incidental to the said petition be paid out of the assets of the said company.

NOTICE is hereby given that at a general meeting of R. D. Barford and Co. (Limited), duly convened and held on the sixteenth day of February, 1916, the subjoined resolutions were duly passed and confirmed, viz.:
