Land taken for the Purposes of a Road in Blocks XIV and XV, Matakaoa Survey District, Waiapu County.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for the purposes of a road in Blocks XIV and XV, Matakaoa Survey District, Waiapu County:

And whereas an agreement has been entered into between the Waiapu County Council and the owner of the land described in the Schedule hereto to take such land for the purposes of a road:

And whereas the Waiapu County Council has laid before the Governor a memorial, accompanied by a map in duplicate, as required by the said Act:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Counties Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, and being satisfied of the sufficiency of the agreement hereinbefore referred to, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the said road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the eighteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 18 acres 2 roods 26·5 perches.

Portion of Tututohora No. 2B, situated in Blocks XIV and XV, Matakaoa Survey District.

In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 36614, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this sixteenth day of February, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.

Land proclaimed as a Street in Block X, Port Nicholson Survey District, City of Wellington.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents of the owners of the land described in the Schedule hereto, and of the Wellington City Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a street the land in Port Nicholson Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land proclaimed as a street:—

8·45 perches, portion of Lots 34 and 59 (D.P. 392), part Section 12, Ohiro R.D. Coloured blue on plan.

1 rood 38 perches, portion of Town Belt. Coloured red on plan.

Situated in Block X, Port Nicholson Survey District (City of Wellington).

In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 39321, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents of the owners of the land described in the First Schedule hereto, and of the Wellington City Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a street the land in Port Nicholson Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby, with the like consents as aforesaid, proclaim as closed the street described in the Second Schedule hereto, which is not required by reason of the street described in the First Schedule hereto.

LAND PROCLAIMED AS A STREET.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land proclaimed as a street: 10·13 perches, portion of Lot 85; and 5·2 perches, portion of Lots 98 and 100.

Coloured on plan: Red.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

STREET CLOSED.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of street closed: 3·46 perches, adjoining or passing through Lot 100.

Coloured on plan: Green.

All of Section 1, Harbour District, City of Wellington, Block VI, Port Nicholson Survey District.

All in the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 39006, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
