Land taken for the Purposes of a Road in Block II, Rangi Survey District.
[l.s.] LIVERPOOL, Governor.
A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for a certain public work—to wit, for the purposes of a road in Block II, Rangi Survey District:
And whereas all the conditions precedent required by law to be observed and performed prior to the taking of such land for the purposes hereinbefore specified have been observed and performed:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fourth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 3 acres 1 rood 37 perches.
Portion of Rangitoto-Tuhua Block 60A, Section 2 (Taranaki R.D.), Block II, Rangi Survey District.
In the Taranaki Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 38965 (sheet 5), deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this sixteenth day of February, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for a certain public work—to wit, for the purposes of a road in Block XVI, Maketu Survey District:
And whereas an agreement has been entered into, in terms of section twenty-seven of the said Act, to take such land for the public work hereinafter set forth:
And whereas a plan has been prepared, and the Minister has recommended the Governor to issue a Proclamation taking the land as required by the said Act:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, and being satisfied of the sufficiency of the agreement hereinbefore referred to, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the said road; and I also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fourth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for certain public works—to wit, for the purposes of a road and gravel-pit in Block VII, Wainuioru Survey District, Wairarapa South County:
And whereas agreements have been entered into between the Wairarapa South County Council and the owners of the land described in the Schedule hereto to take such land for the purposes of a road and gravel-pit:
And whereas the Wairarapa South County Council has laid before the Governor a memorial, accompanied by a map in duplicate, as required by the said Act:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Counties Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, and being satisfied of the sufficiency of the agreements hereinbefore referred to, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the said road and gravel-pit, and the land taken for the said gravel-pit shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Wairarapa South on and after the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the eighteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.

Portion of Lot 3, D.P. 1070, being part Section 235.
Coloured on plan: Neutral tint.
All situated in Block VII, Wainuioru Survey District (Pahaua Block R.D.).
All in the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 39269, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
