COUNTY OF WAITEMATA.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR A ROAD THROUGH PART OF SECTION 126, PARISH OF WAIKUMETE, BLOCK III, TITIRANGI SURVEY DISTRICT.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, and amendments thereto, by the Waitemata County Council to execute a certain public work—to wit, the construction of a road through part of Section 126, Parish of Waikumete, Block III, Titirangi Survey District; and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is further given that the plan of the said road and of the land as required to be taken is deposited for public inspection at the office of the Waitemata County Council, Empire Buildings, Swanson Street, Auckland. And notice is also hereby given that all persons affected by the execution of such public work or the taking of such land shall, if they have any well-grounded objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice, to the County Council Office, Auckland.

APPROXIMATE area of land required to be taken: 1 rood 19·1 perches.
Being portion of Section 126, Block III, Titirangi Survey District, in the Auckland Land District.

MONOWAI GOLD-MINING COMPANY (LIMITED).
AT an extraordinary general meeting of the above-named company duly convened and held at the office of the company, Imperial Buildings, Queen Street, Auckland, on the 6th day of December, 1915, the following special resolution was duly passed, and at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting of the members of the said company also duly convened and held at the same place on the 21st day of December, 1915, the following resolution was duly confirmed, namely:—
“That the company be wound up voluntarily under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1908.”
And at such last-mentioned meeting JOSEPH BERNARD SHEATH, of the City of Auckland, Company Manager, was appointed Liquidator for the purpose of the winding-up.

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908; and in the matter of the COUNTESS STEAM TRAWLING COMPANY (LIMITED).
AT an extraordinary general meeting of the members of the above-named company duly convened and held at the registered office of the company, 81 Emerson Street, Napier, on Tuesday, the twenty-first day of December, 1915, the following special resolution was duly passed:—
“That the company be wound up voluntarily; and that THOMAS PHILIP VAUTIER, of Napier, Accountant, and HERBERT JAMES RUSSELL, of Napier, Accountant, be and are hereby appointed Liquidators for the purpose of such winding-up.”

NOTICE is hereby given that the following extraordinary resolution was passed by an extraordinary general meeting of the Colonial Soap Company of N.Z. (Limited)
held at the office of Mr. Geo. W. Hutchison, Wyndham Chambers, Wyndham Street, Auckland, on Wednesday, the 15th day of December, 1915:—
“That it is proved to the satisfaction of the company that it cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and that accordingly the company be wound up voluntarily.”

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the members of the above-named company duly convened and held on the 12th day of November, 1915, the following extraordinary resolution was passed:—
“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of this meeting that the company cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same, and accordingly that the company be wound up voluntarily; and that STANLEY GEORGE CHAMBERS, of Auckland, Accountant, be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up.”

THE Partnership heretofore subsisting between HORACE EDWARD OLDING and ARTHUR LEA STEVENS, carrying on business as Butchers under the style of “The Surrey Butchery,” has been dissolved by mutual consent. The business will be continued under the same style by HORACE EDWARD OLDING alone, and he will receive all moneys due to and discharge all liabilities of the Partnership.

IN LIQUIDATION.
NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the Dominion Gold-mining Company (No Liability) duly convened and held at No. 108 Victoria Arcade, Queen Street, Auckland, on the 1st day of December, 1915, the subjoined resolution was duly passed; and at a subsequent extraordinary general meeting of the said company also duly convened and held at the same place on the 20th day of December, 1915, the subjoined resolution was duly confirmed, viz. :—
“That the Dominion Gold-mining Company (No Liability) be wound up voluntarily under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1908.”
And at the last above meeting HENRY GILFILLAN, Company Secretary and Accountant, was appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.
