Notice to Mariners No. 13 of 1916.

DREDGING IN LYTTLETON HARBOUR.

Marine Department,
Wellington, N.Z., 17th February, 1916.

THE Lyttelton Harbour Board have notified that dredging will be commenced about the 26th instant at the lower end of the present channel opposite. Gollan’s Bay, Lyttelton Harbour. As the dredge will be moored vessels should slow down to dead slow some distance from the dredge, and pass it at dead slow on the side showing two black balls during the daytime and two red lights at night.

Charts, &c., affected: Admiralty Charts Nos. 1999 and 2529; “New Zealand Pilot,” eighth edition, 1908, Chapter viii, pages 239 and 240; “New Zealand Nautical Almanac,” pages 332 to 340.
