Amending Trout Regulations for Rotorua Acclimatization District.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this eighth day of February, 1916.

Present:

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE W. F. MASSEY, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the twenty-seventh day of October, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-ninth day of the same month, regulations were made for trout-fishing in the Rotorua Acclimatization District: And whereas it is desirable to amend the said regulations:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by the Fisheries Act, 1908, and its amendments, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend the proviso to Regulation No. 15 of the said regulations of the twenty-seventh day of October, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, by inserting after the word “net” the words “or otherwise take.”

Auckland Provincial Patriotic and War Relief Association incorporated under the War Funds Act, 1915.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this fifteenth day of February, 1916.

Present:

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE W. F. MASSEY, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section twelve of the War Funds Act, 1915 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), it is provided that the Governor may, by Order in Council gazetted, incorporate a society possessing a war fund, or the trustees of such fund: And whereas application, in writing addressed to the Minister, has been made by the Auckland Provincial Patriotic and War Relief Association (being a society possessing a war fund), praying for the incorporation of that association: And whereas it is considered desirable to grant such application:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in him by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the association known as the Auckland Provincial Patriotic and War Relief Association is hereby incorporated for the purposes of the said Act as from the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, and shall be known as the “Auckland Provincial Patriotic and War Relief Association.”

Conferring on Heathcote County Council Powers of a Borough Council with respect to Matter of Drainage and Sanitation.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this eighth day of February, 1916.

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE W. F. MASSEY, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS it is enacted by the Counties Amendment Act, 1915, that the Governor may, subject to such restrictions, modifications, and conditions as he thinks fit, from time to time by Order in Council confer upon any specified County Council such of the powers of a Borough Council with respect to matters of drainage and sanitation as he thinks fit: And whereas it is expedient to confer on the Heathcote County Council certain of such powers of a Borough Council:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority vested in him in that behalf by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby confer upon the said County Council all the powers exercisable by a duly constituted Borough Council under Parts XXIII and XXXIX of and the Tenth Schedule to the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, sections twenty-six and twenty-seven of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1910, sections twenty-eight and thirty-nine of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1913, and section seven of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1915.

Modifying Order in Council closing Wanganui Cemetery.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this eighth day of February, 1916.

Present:

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE W. F. MASSEY, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by an Order in Council made under the Cemeteries Act, 1908, and dated the sixteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the nineteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, it was ordered and directed that as on and from the first day of June, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen, burials within the Wanganui Cemetery in the Borough of Wanganui shall be wholly discontinued: And whereas it is expedient to vary the said Order in Council to the extent hereinafter set forth:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority in that behalf vested in him by the Cemeteries Act, 1908, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and direct that, notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the said Order in Council, the persons named in the Schedule hereto, and all other persons being within the degrees of relationship of husband, wife, parent, child, brother, or sister to such persons, may be buried in the said cemetery in the plots of ground set opposite the names of such persons respectively in the said Schedule.
