ABSTRACT OF CONDITIONS OF LEASE.
- Possession will be given on 1st May, 1916, and the term of the lease will commence from 1st July, 1916.
- A half-year's rent at the rate offered and rent for the broken period between 1st May, 1916, and 30th June, 1916, lease and registration fees, and valuation for improvements to be paid on the fall of the hammer.
- Term of lease is twenty-one years, with perpetual right of renewal for further successive terms of twenty-one years.
- Rent of renewal leases to be fixed by arbitration. If lessee does not desire new lease at end of term, land to be leased by auction. The incoming lessee to pay the value of the improvements, which value will be paid to outgoing lessee.
- No assignment or sublease without consent.
- Interest at the rate of 10 per cent. per annum on rent in arrears.
- Lessee to improve the land and keep it clear of all weeds.
- Consent of the Land Board to be obtained before subdividing, erecting any building, or effecting other improvements.

Small Grazing-runs in Otago Land District for Lease.

Dunedin, 9th February, 1916.
NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned small grazing-runs are open for lease under the provisions of the Land Act, 1908, and amendments; and applications will be received at this office up to 4 o'clock p.m. on Monday, 13th March, 1916.
Applicants will have to appear personally before the Land Board at the District Lands and Survey Office, Dunedin, on Wednesday, 15th March, 1916, at 10 o'clock a.m., or at the Courthouse, Oamaru, on Thursday, 16th March, at 1 o'clock p.m., to answer any questions the Land Board may ask; but if any applicant so desires he may be examined by the Land Board of the district in which he resides.
The ballot will be held at the Courthouse, Oamaru, at the conclusion of the examination on Thursday, 16th March, 1916.
