Prohibiting all Private Alienation of certain Native Land.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this fourth day of February, 1916.

Present:
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE W. F. MASSEY, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and section one hundred and eleven of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1913, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by those sections, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby extend the period of an Order in Council made the twenty-second day of February, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen, for a further period of six months, prohibiting all alienations of the Native land specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienations in favour of the Crown.

Declaring Portions of Kohua, Paekaka, Paraheka, and Waitahi Roads, in the Waitomo County, to be County Roads.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this thirty-first day of January, 1916.

Present:
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE W. F. MASSEY, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portions of roads described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become county roads.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of Kohua Road, in the Taranaki Land District, Waitomo County, commencing at its junction with Owen Road, and proceeding thence in a north-easterly direction generally, adjoining or passing through Sections 19, 18, 6, and part 5, Block XI, Totoro Survey District, and terminating at the south-western corner of Section 2, Block XI, Totoro Survey District, being a distance of 1 mile 30 chains, more or less (shown on plan marked P.W.D. 39441).

Also all that portion of Paekaka Road, in the Auckland Land District, Waitomo County, commencing at its junction with Wairere Road, and proceeding thence in a westerly direction generally, adjoining or passing through Sections 5, 6, 7, and 8, Block XII, Otanake Survey District, and terminating at the north-western corner of the said Section 8, being a distance of two miles, more or less (shown on plan marked P.W.D. 39444).

Also all that portion of Paraheka Road, in the Taranaki Land District, Waitomo County, commencing at its junction with the Kiekie Road, and proceeding thence in a north-westerly direction generally, adjoining or passing through Sections 18, 17, 16, 15, and 11, Block I, Aria Survey District, and terminating at the eastern boundary of 5B Section 2, Block I, Aria Survey District, being a distance of two miles and a half, more or less (shown on plan marked P.W.D. 39442).

Also all that portion of Waitahi Road, in the Taranaki Land District, Waitomo County, commencing at its junction with Wairere Road, and proceeding thence in a south-easterly and then southerly direction generally, adjoining or passing through part No. 1A No. 2B, Block VI, portion of Blocks VI and X, Totoro Survey District, and terminating at its junction with Kohua Road, being a distance of 1 mile 5 chains, more or less (shown on plan marked P.W.D. 39443).

As the said portions of roads are more particularly delineated on the plans marked as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring Portion of Mangaorapa Road, in the Porangahau Road District, Patangata County, to be a District Road.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a district road.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of road in the Hawke's Bay Land District, Patangata County, Porangahau Road District, known as Mangaorapa Road, commencing at a point near the eastern boundary of Section 9, Block XVII, Porangahau Survey District, and proceeding thence in a south-easterly and then south-westerly direction generally, adjoining or passing through Sections part 9, 10, 11, Block XVII, Porangahau Survey District, and Section 5, Block I, Tautane Survey District, and terminating at a point on the northern boundary of Section 7, Block I, Tautane Survey District; being a distance of 3 miles 3 chains, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 39411, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured blue and marked C.D.
