Appointment of Representative to the Wairarapa Hospital and Charitable Aid Board.

Vaccination Stations appointed under the Public Health Act, 1908.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section one hundred and fifty-one of the Public Health Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the following places to be vaccination stations within the Vaccination District of Blackstone: St. Bathans, Cambrians, Becks, and Oturehua.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-eighth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.

Partial Revocation of Warrant defining Timber-cutting Areas.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.

WHEREAS by Warrant dated the nineteenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and two, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twentieth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and two, certain blocks of land in the Hauraki Mining District were defined as “Warden’s timber areas” and “Land Board timber areas” respectively: And whereas it is expedient to revoke the said Warrant as regards the land described in the Schedule hereto:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by the Mining Act, 1908, and its amendments, and of every other power and authority enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand doth hereby revoke the above-recited Warrant in so far as it relates to the land described in the Schedule hereto.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that parcel of land in the Auckland Land District, situated in Blocks VI, X, and XI, Aroha Survey District, and Blocks III and VII, Katikati Survey District, containing 5,696 acres, more or less: commencing at the south-east corner of Rotorua Special Claim: bounded towards the north-east by timber lease of 1,412 acres to its southern corner; towards the west by the eastern boundary of said lease, 15 chains; towards the north by a right line due east, 30 chains; towards the east by a right line due south, 72 chains; again towards the north by a right line due east to the boundary between Blocks III and IV, Katikati Survey District, 172 chains; towards the east by a line due south, being the boundary between Blocks III, IV, VII, and VIII, Katikati Survey District, 216 chains; towards the south by a right line due west to the boundary between Tauranga and Piako Counties, 116 chains; towards the south-west along the said county boundaries, 190 chains; towards the west by a right line due north, 80 chains; towards the south by a right line due west, 54 chains; again towards the west by a right line due north, 148 chains, to the point of commencement.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this seventh day of December, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.

Postmasters appointed to take and receive Statutory Declarations.

PURSUANT to the authority conferred upon me by the two-hundred-and-eighty-eighth section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare that the persons set out in the Schedule hereto, being persons holding the office of Postmaster under the Post and Telegraph Act, 1908, at the places set opposite their names in the said Schedule, are authorized to take and receive statutory declarations under the two-hundred-and-eighty-eighth section of the Justices of the Peace Act, 1908.

Arrangements for First Election, &c., Hauraki Drainage District, Counties of Ohinemuri and Thames.

HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint

HECTOR ANDREW TORR, Esq., of Turua,

to be Returning Officer and person to prepare electors roll for the first election of the Board of the Hauraki Drainage Board, as constituted under the Land Drainage Act, 1908; also to appoint Thursday, 21st December, 1916, to be the day, and McKenzie’s Office, Turua, to be the place, for holding the said election; also to appoint Monday, 8th January, 1917, at 8 o’clock in the afternoon, to be the time, and the Turua Hall, Turua, to be the place, at which the first meeting of the Board so elected shall be held.
