Land proclaimed as a Road, and Road closed, in Blocks XI, Okaka, and III, Waioneke Survey Districts, Waitemata County.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.
A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents of the owners of the land described in the First Schedule hereto, and of the Waitemata County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a road the land in Okaka and Waioneke Survey Districts described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby, with the like consents as aforesaid, proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto, which is not required by reason of the road described in the First Schedule hereto.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 3 acres 1 rood 34·6 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Allotment 23 (Waioneke Parish), Block III, Waioneke Survey District (S.O. 19097).
Coloured on plan: Green.
All in the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 41341, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty's Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this seventh day of December, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.

Allocating to the Purposes of a Street, Land in the Borough of Riccarton acquired for a Railway.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of land acquired for the purposes of the Hurunui-Waitaki Railway, and it is considered desirable to allocate such land to the purposes of a street:
And whereas it has been certified by the Minister of Railways that such land is not required for railway purposes: And whereas such land is situated in the Borough of Riccarton, the local authority of which has consented to the issue of this Proclamation, and appears to be the local authority most capable of conveniently and effectively controlling and maintaining the said street:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section one hundred and ninety-seven of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a street, and that the said street shall be maintained by the Riccarton Borough Council in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Council.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land allocated as a street: 8·7 perches.
Portion of railway land, formerly part Rural Section 113, situated in the Borough of Riccarton (Canterbury R.D.).
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 41302, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty's Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this ninth day of December, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.

Crown Land in Block VI, Takahue Survey District, set apart for the Purposes of a Road.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is Crown land, and is required to be set apart for the purposes of a road in Block VI, Takahue Survey District:
And whereas by section twenty-one of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is enacted that whenever any Crown land is required to be set apart for any public work the Governor may at any time by Proclamation set the same apart for such public work, without complying with any of the provisions of that Act in respect of the taking or setting-apart of other lands for such purpose:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for the purposes of the said road; and I also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-third day of December one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land set apart: 1 rood 20 perches, being Crown land, situated in Mangatete Parish, Block VI, Takahue Survey District (S.O. 18955).
In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 40846, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured purple.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty's Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this seventh day of December, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.
