Land set apart for Selection.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by section sixty-three of the Land Laws Amendment Act, 1913, it is, amongst other things, enacted that in no case shall any moneys be expended under the provisions of the said section sixty-three in connection with any block of land, unless that block is set apart for selection under that section pursuant to Proclamation in that behalf:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of every power and authority enabling me in this behalf, and for the purposes of the aforesaid Act, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim the land described in the Schedule hereto as set apart for selection.
SCHEDULE.
WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.
Matainui Block.
Lots 1 to 4 (inclusive), Education Endowment Reserve No. 124, Block XIII, Wataroa Survey District: Area, 851 acres.
As the same is delineated upon the plan marked L. and S. 5/88, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this fifth day of December, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section three hundred and eighty-nine of the Native Land Act, 1909, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby lay out and take as roads the lands described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken:—
A. R. P. Portion of
2 1 13 Takahiwai No. 7A, Block II; coloured red.
1 1 5 " 7B, Blocks II & VI; coloured red.
5 2 38 " 7C, Block VI; coloured red.
6 1 20·4 Pukekauri No. 1B, " coloured purple.
Situated in Ruakaka Survey District.
In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/401, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned. (Auckland Plan 17972, blue.)

ERRATUM.—In the last item of the first column of the First Schedule to the Proclamation proclaiming land as a road and road closed in Blocks IV, Kaipara, and V, Waioneke Survey Districts, Waitemata County, published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 131, page 3618, of 23rd November, 1916, for “0 roods 6 perches” read “1 acre 0 roods 6 perches.”
