Cancelling the Reservation over Section 10, Block LI, Town of Rotorua, and setting apart in lieu thereof Sections 2 and 3, Block LVII, Town of Rotorua, as a Reserve for the Use of Aboriginal Natives of the Tuhoe Tribe.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section four of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1916, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby cancel the reservation for the use of the aboriginal Natives of the Tuhoe Tribe of the land described in the First Schedule hereto, and do hereby set apart the land described in the Second Schedule hereto as a reserve for the use of the said aboriginal Natives of the Tuhoe Tribe in lieu of the land described in the First Schedule.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood, more or less, being Section No. 10 of Block LI of the Town of Rotorua. Bounded towards the north by Section No. 6 of Block LI of the Town of Rotorua, 125 links; towards the east by Section No. 11 of the same block, 200 links; towards the south by a public road, 125 links; and towards the west by Section No. 9 of Block LI aforesaid, 200 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.
SECOND SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, being Sections 2 and 3, Block LVII, Town of Rotorua, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 0 roods 22 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the north generally by the Utuhina Stream; towards the north-east by Section 4 of the aforesaid Block LVII, 322·1 links; towards the south-east by the Tarewa Road, 449·6 links; and towards the south-west by Section 1 of Block LVII aforesaid, 259·6 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-eighth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.

Declaring Land in the Auckland Land District to be subject to the Land for Settlements Act, 1908.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section seventy-nine of the Land for Settlements Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the area of Crown land described in the Schedule hereto shall be subject to the provisions of the Land for Settlements Act, 1908, and shall hereafter form part of the Pakarau Settlement.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 147 acres 2 roods, more or less, being Subdivisions C 1 and F 1, Pakarau Pa, in Block XII, Maungakawa Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by Subdivision D, Pakarau Pa; towards the south-east by Subdivision F 2, Pakarau Pa; towards the south by Subdivision C 2, Pakarau Pa; and towards the north-west by the Pakarau Settlement. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 21, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-eighth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.

Notice of Intention to exchange a Reserve in Waikohu Survey District, Hawke’s Bay Land District, for other Land.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
WHEREAS the land described in Part I of the Schedule hereto was heretofore duly set apart as a resting-place for travelling stock, being a purpose within Class II of the Second Schedule to the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908:
And whereas it is expedient that the said reserve should be exchanged for the settlement land of equal value described in Part II of the said Schedule:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, aforesaid, declare my intention to exchange the reserve described in Part I of the Schedule hereto for the settlement land described in Part II of the said Schedule.
SCHEDULE.
PART I.
ALL that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 4 acres 0 roods 32 perches, more or less, being Section No. 13, Block XV, Waikohu Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by Section 7, Block XV aforesaid, and by Okahuatiu No. 1a Block, 757·6 links; towards the east generally by a public road, 415·6, 185·6, 144·5, and 346·6 links respectively; towards the south-west by Section 7 aforesaid, 1007·1 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 19404, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered green.
PART II.
All that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 1 rood 16 perches, more or less, being Section No. 20, Block XV, Waikohu Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by a public road, 269 links; towards the north-east by Section 23, Block XV aforesaid, 151·6 and 438·9 links; towards the south-east by Crown lands, 176·5 links; and towards the south-west by Crown lands, 502·9 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 19404A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered green.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this twenty-eighth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.

Notifying Lands in Marlborough Land District for Sale by Public Auction.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-twenty-sixth section of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Monday, the eleventh day of December, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, as the time at which the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction; and I do hereby fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said Schedule hereto.

These sections are close to the Hillersden Settlement in the Wairau Valley, about twenty-three miles from Blenheim by good motor road, and are close to the post-office, hotel, school, and store. The sections are all level and good building-sites.
