Providing, constructing, and completing a tunnel at Okehu connecting the Mangahoropito Stream within the catchment area of the borough with the Okehu Stream or the Okehu Waterworks Dam within the said catchment area, and the supplying or laying water-mains in the said tunnel for the purpose of carrying water from the said Mangahoropito Stream to the said Okehu Stream or Okehu Waterworks Dam, and for enlarging and extending the waterworks at Okehu aforesaid, and for all matters and things incident or relating to the purposes aforesaid : £7,000
(4.) Providing, constructing, and supplying public urinals or conveniences, and all works and things necessary or incidental thereto : £1,500
(5.) For matters incidental or relating to all or to any one or more of the foregoing purposes : £500
the following votes were recorded : For the proposal, 370 ; against the proposal, 154 ; informal, 41.
I therefore declare the proposal carried.

IT is hereby notified for public information that the Waipa County Council has, by special order, declared the following plants to be noxious weeds within the meaning of the Noxious Weeds Act, 1908, in the district under its jurisdiction :—
Gorse (Ulex europæus).
Broom (Cytisus scoparius).
Winged thistle (Carduus pycnocephalus).
Fennel (Fœniculum vulgare).
Spiderwort (Leycesteria formosa).
Viper’s bugloss (Echium vulgare).
Bathurst burr (Xanthium spinosum).
Foxglove (Digitalis purpurea).
