Notifying that the Kalei (the Porphyrio Bird) may be taken and killed in Niue.

LIVERPOOL, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the regulations for the protection of indigenous and imported birds, and to prevent the introduction of noxious animals and birds into the Cook Islands, I, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify that the Kalei (the Porphyrio Bird) may be taken and killed at any time in the Island of Niue.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this thirtieth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen.
