WINDING-UP NOTICE.

IN accordance with section 223 of the Companies Act, 1908, notice is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of the N. Wairoa Aerated Water Company (Limited) held on the 8th day of September, 1916, the following extraordinary resolution was passed:—

"That, as it is proved to the satisfaction of the company that it cannot by reason of its liabilities continue its business, and it is advisable to wind up, the company be wound up voluntarily; and that ARTHUR LOUIS BILLING, of Dargaville, Public Accountant, be and is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up."

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary meeting of the shareholders of the Luck-at-Last Gold-mining Company (Limited) held in Secretary’s office, 302 Victoria Arcade, Auckland, on Monday, 11th September, 1916, at 10.30 a.m., the following extraordinary resolutions were carried unanimously:—

(a.) That it is proved to the satisfaction of the company that the company cannot be reason of its liabilities continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same.

MOTUEKA BOROUGH COUNCIL.

In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, the Local Elections and Polls Act, 1908, and the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and the Acts amending the same respectively.

I, MICHAEL SIMPSON, Chairman of the Motueka Borough Council, hereby give public notice that on the thirteenth day of September instant a poll of the electors of the Borough of Motueka was held and taken upon the proposal of the Motueka Borough Council to borrow the sum of five thousand pounds (£5,000) for the purposes of constructing and generally improving High Street, Motueka, at a cost of three thousand pounds (£3,000), and the purchase of road machinery and plant at a cost of two thousand pounds (£2,000), in accordance with the provision of the above-mentioned Acts; and that at such poll the number of valid votes recorded was as follows: For the proposal, 166; against the proposal, 70.

Now, therefore, inasmuch as the number of valid votes so recorded in favour of the said proposal was a majority of the total number of valid votes recorded at the said poll, I declare the said proposal to be carried.

NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between ROBERT LAMB PATERSON and HENRY ALBERT MOSSMAN, carrying on business as Land and Financial Agents at Hastings, under the style or firm of “Paterson, Mossman, & Co.,” has been dissolved as from the 31st day of July, 1916. And the said business shall in future be carried on by the said HENRY ALBERT MOSSMAN alone.
