Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.
REGULATION No. 52.
THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Tawapata North No. 1, Subdivision 2, is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Nuhaka on Wednesday, the 18th day of October, 1916, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—
“That a lease of the Tawapata North No. 1, Subdivision 2 Block, be granted to Ihaka Maihi Whaanga and Epanaia Whaanga, both of Nuhaka, aboriginal Natives, for the term of twenty-one years at the yearly rental of 5 per cent. on the present Government valuation, with right to compensation for improvements, or to a renewal for the further term of twenty-one years at the yearly rental of 5 per cent. on the then unimproved Government valuation of the said land.”

REGULATION No. 52.
THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Nuhaka 2A 4C Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Nuhaka on Wednesday, the 18th day of October, 1916, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolutions:—
“(1.) That a lease of Nuhaka 2A 4C be granted to James Middleton Taylor, of Whakaki, Wairoa, for a term of twenty-one years at a rental of 5 per cent. on the present Government valuation, with a right of renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at a rental of 5 per cent. on the then Government unimproved valuation of the said land, or with the right to compensation for improvements in the event of the renewal not being taken; alternatively,—
“(2.) That the Nuhaka 2A 4C Block be sold to James M. Taylor, of Whakaki, Wairoa, at 7s. 6d. per acre advance over the present Government valuation.
“(3.) That the said Nuhaka No. 2A 4C Block be leased to Taare Mete, Kingi Hemopo, and Iwa Kamau, of Nuhaka, settlers, for twenty-one years at yearly rental equal to 5 per cent. of the present valuation of the said land, together with the right to a renewal for a further twenty-one years at yearly rental equal to 5 per cent. of the then unimproved valuation of the said land, or with the right to compensation for improvements.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Nuhaka 2D 2J is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Wairoa on Wednesday, the 11th day of October, 1916, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—
“That Nuhaka No. 2D 2J Block be sold to Agnes Clementina Bowen at a price not less than the Government capital valuation of the said land.”

Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.
REGULATION No. 52.
THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Waipaoa No. 5A is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Te Reinga on Monday, the 9th day of October, 1916, at 2 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolutions:—
“(1.) That the Waipaoa 5A Block be revested in the Native beneficiaries of the said land.
“(2.) That a lease of the Waipaoa No. 5A Block be granted to Frank Wrey Nolan, of Gisborne, solicitor, for a period of twenty-one years at a rental equal to 5 per cent. per annum of the present valuation of the said land, together with the right to a renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at a rental equal to 5 per cent. per annum of the then unimproved valuation of the said land, or with the right to compensation for improvements.”
The owners will also be asked to consider the undermentioned applications duly filed with the Board:—
“(1.) That a lease under Part 16 be granted to Paratene Kunaiti, Hune Hukanui, and Arani Kunaiti.
“(2.) That a lease under Part 16 be granted to Tangi Whareraupo and Tamao Onekawa.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Tokerau Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Utakura 2B 1D 11 will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Horeke on Friday, the 6th day of October, 1916, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—
“That the said land be leased to G. M. Bernard, of Okaihau, at 1s. per acre for twenty-one years, with right of renewal for further twenty-one years at 5 per cent. on the unimproved Government valuation.”

“That the said land be leased to G. M. Bernard at the rate of 1s. per acre for twenty-one years, with right of renewal for further twenty-one years at 5 per cent. on Government valuation (unimproved).”
