Proclaiming Unclaimed Lands in Auckland Land District to be Crown Lands.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section twenty-nine of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies’ Empowering Act, 1914, it is enacted that after not less than three months notice in the Gazette, and in such newspapers as he thinks fit, of his intention so to do, the Governor may declare that the lands referred to therein, or any portion of those lands, shall, from a date to be specified in the said Proclamation, be deemed to be Crown lands available for disposal under the Land Act, 1908:

And whereas the prescribed notice has been given in the Gazette and in newspapers:

Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section twenty-nine of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies’ Empowering Act, 1914, do hereby proclaim and declare that the lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto (being portion of the lands referred to in the said section twenty-nine) shall, from and after the date of the publication hereof in the Gazette, be deemed to be Crown lands available for disposal under the Land Act, 1908.

Proclaiming Native Land to be Crown Land under Section 374 of the Native Land Act, 1909.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section three hundred and seventy-four of the Native Land Act, 1909 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), and by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, it is provided, inter alia, that, on being satisfied that the purchase of any Native land has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the said Act, the Governor may issue a Proclamation that such land has become Crown land:

And whereas the purchase of the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the said Act:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by section three hundred and seventy-four of the said Act, and by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim the land set out in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land.

RAWHITIROA A No. 3 Block: Approximate area, 2 roods 13 perches; Waihou Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents of the owner of the land described in the First Schedule hereto, and of the Hobson County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a road the land in Kopuru Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby, with the like consents as aforesaid, proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto, which is not required by reason of the road described in the First Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

All situated in Block I, Kopuru Survey District (S.O. 19068).

All in the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 40840, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consents of the owner and mortgagee of the land described in the First Schedule hereto, and of the Waimea County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a road the land in Motueka Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby, with the like consents as aforesaid, proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto, which is not required by reason of the road described in the First Schedule hereto.
