SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road permitted to be stopped : 3 acres 2 roods 36 perches, adjoining or passing through Lots 1 and 3 of Section 86. Situated in Hokonui District.
In the Southland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 38072, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured green.

Consenting to stopping a Road in Block VI, Cloudy Bay Survey District, Picton and Pelorus Road Districts, Marlborough County.

At the Government House at Wellington, this sixth day of August, 1915.

His Excellency the Governor in Council.
WHEREAS by section one hundred and thirty-three (a) of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is enacted that a local authority shall not declare any county road or district road to be stopped until the consent thereto of the Governor by Order in Council gazetted is obtained:
And whereas the Picton and Pelorus Road Boards have applied for such consent in respect of the road described in the Schedule hereto:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the above-in-part-recited Act, and of all other powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Picton and Pelorus Road Boards stopping the road described in the Schedule hereto.

Duty on certain Slippers, Substitutes for Felt Slippers.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this sixth day of August, 1915.

His Excellency the Governor in Council.
WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the twenty-second day of May, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the fourth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, it was declared that all slippers having uppers composed solely of felt, arctic cloth, imitation camel hair, carpet, canvas, loofah, velvet, woven fibre, cloth, or textile, and having rope, loofah, twine, fibre, linoleum, carpet, or textile soles, but having no leather in their composition with the exception of a heel-stiffener, which may be of leather or other material, should be charged with the duty chargeable on slippers of felt with carpet, twine, or felt soles:
And whereas it is deemed expedient to revoke the before-mentioned Order in Council, and to declare that the slippers specified in the Schedule hereto should be charged with the duty chargeable on slippers of felt with carpet, twine, or felt soles:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authority conferred upon him by section one hundred and thirty-five of the Customs Act, 1913, and by all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of that Dominion, doth hereby revoke the before-mentioned Order in Council dated the twenty-second day of May, one thousand nine hundred and fourteen, and doth hereby declare that the articles specified in the said Schedule shall be charged with the duty chargeable on slippers of felt with carpet, twine, or felt soles ; and doth hereby further declare that this Order in Council shall come into operation on the date of the publication thereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
SCHEDULE.
ALL slippers having uppers composed solely of felt, arctic cloth, imitation camel hair, carpet, canvas, loofah, velvet, woven fibre, cloth, or textile, and having rope, loofah, twine, carpet, or textile soles, but having no leather, leather board, or imitation leather in their composition, with the exception of a heel-stiffener, which may be of leather or other material.

Declaring Portions of Road in Block VII, Patoka Survey District, to be Government Roads.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this second day of August, 1915.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anyway enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become Government roads.
