thereon coloured as above mentioned.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right
Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile,
Earl of Liverpool, Knight Grand Cross of the
Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and
Saint George, Member of the Royal Victorian
Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in

Land taken for the Purposes of a Street in Block XI,
Belmont Survey District, Borough of Onslow.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto
is required to be taken, under the Public Works
Act, 1908—to wit, for the purposes of a street in Block XI,
Belmont Survey District:
And whereas the Onslow Borough Council has laid
before the Governor a memorial, accompanied by a map in
duplicate, and also the statutory declaration, as required by
the said Act:
Now, therefore, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of
Liverpool, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand,
in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the
Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, and of every other power
and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do
hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the
said street, as from the date hereinafter specified, and
shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of
the Borough of Onslow; and I do also hereby direct that
this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-
eighth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and
fifteen.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this second day of
August, 1915.

His Excellency the Governor in Council.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in him by the Agricultural and Pastoral Societies
Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of
New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of
the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby
incorporate the members of the Auckland Horticultural
Society, and such persons as shall hereafter be admitted
members of the said society agreeably to the rules of the
said society and the provisions of the said Act, into a body
corporate under the style and title of “The Auckland
Horticultural Society.”

Appointing a Trustee for the Native Inhabitants of the Hokianga
District, in respect of a License granted to occupy Foreshore
at Rawene as a Site for a Market-house.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this second day of
August, 1915.
Present :
His Excellency the Governor in Council.
WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the twenty-fifth
day of March, one thousand nine hundred and fifteen,
and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the first day of
the following month, Heremia te Wake, Kahi Tipene, Moki
Mitikakau, and Hohepa Heperi, as trustees for the Native
inhabitants, were licensed to use and occupy a portion of
the foreshore at Rawene, in Hokianga Harbour, as a site for a
market-house:
And whereas Moki Mitikakau is deceased, and it is necessary to appoint a trustee to act in his place with the other
trustees:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority granted him by the Harbours Act, 1908,
and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, and acting
by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint Pawa Rakena to act in the place of the said Moki Mitikakau, as trustee (in conjunction with the said Heremia te Wake, Kahi Tipene, and
Hohepa Heperi) for the Native inhabitants of the Hokianga district, in respect of the license granted by the hereinbefore-recited Order in Council.

Consenting to Stopping a Road in the Hokonui District,
Southland County.
LIVERPOOL, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this sixth day of
August, 1915.
Present :
His Excellency the Governor in Council.
WHEREAS by section one hundred and thirty-three (a)
of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is enacted that a local authority shall not declare any county road or district road to be stopped until the consent thereto of the Governor, by Order in Council gazetted, is obtained:
And whereas the Southland County Council has applied for such consent in respect of the road described in the Schedule hereto:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the above-in-part-recited Act, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Southland County Council stopping the road described in the Schedule hereto.
