of Taumataoteo No. 1 Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Wairoa on Tuesday, the 17th day of August, 1915, at 3 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“That the Taumataoteo No. 1 Block be leased to Phillip Henry Summerfield, of Wairoa, hotelkeeper, for twenty-one years at a yearly rental equal to 5 per cent. of present valuation, together with right to renewal for further term of twenty-one years at a yearly rental equal to 5 per cent. of the then unimproved valuation of the said land, with the right to compensation for improvements.”

REGULATION NO. 48.


THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Mangapapa is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Wairoa on Tuesday, the 17th day of August, 1915, at 3 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“That the Mangapapa Block be leased to James MacIlhaney, of Wairoa, sheep-farmer, for a term of twenty-one years at a yearly rental equal to 5 per cent. on Government valuation, together with the right to compensation for improvements.”

REGULATION NO. 48.


THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Nuhaka 2B 2G Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Wairoa on Tuesday, the 17th day of August, 1915, at 3 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“That a lease of the Nuhaka 2B 2G Block be granted to Tiemi Wirihana, sheep-farmer, of Waingakā, for twenty-one years at a rental of 5 per cent. on the present Government valuation, together with the right of renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at a rental equal to 5 per cent. on the then Government unimproved valuation thereof, or with the right to compensation for improvements in the event of the renewal not being taken.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Ikaroa Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Omahu 2A No. 2 will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Hastings on Friday, the 13th day of August, 1915, at 2 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“That the said land, containing 374 acres 3 roods 7 perches, be sold to Elizabeth Blake at a price to be not less than the Government valuation.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Ikaroa Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Omahu No. 2B will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Hastings on Friday, the 13th day of August, 1915, at 2 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“That the said land, containing 353 acres 3 roods 35 perches, be sold to Lyli Morehu Blake at a price to be not less than the present Government valuation.”

REGULATION NO. 48.


THE Maori Land Board for the Tokerau Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Motatau 3B No. 1 will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Kawakawa on Saturday, the 14th day of August, 1915, at 11.30 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“That the said land be sold to Nau Paraone for the sum of £5 10s. per acre, or at the amount of a special Government valuation, whichever is the greater.”

“That the block be sold to Edward Clare Blomfield, of Auckland, at the price of £1 per acre.”

“That the said block be sold to Edward Clare Blomfield, of Auckland, for the price of £1 per acre.”
