NOTICE is hereby given that the matters mentioned in the Schedule hereunder written will be considered at a meeting of the South Island District Maori Land Board to be held at Wellington on Tuesday, the 10th day of August, 1915, at 10.30 o’clock a.m., or as soon thereafter as the business of the Board will allow.

Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 48.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Waihoa No. 2 Block is summoned and will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Tokomaru Bay on Thursday, the 26th day of August, 1915, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution:—

“That a lease of Waihoa No. 2 Block be granted to Wakarara Karaka, of Tokomaru Bay, sheep-farmer, for a term of twenty-one years at a rental equal to 5 per cent. on the Government valuation, with a right to renewal for a further term of twenty-one years at a rental equal to 5 per cent. on the then Government valuation, less the value of all improvements effected by the lessee; or, in the alternative

“That a lease of Waihoa No. 2 Block be granted, under Part XVI of the Native Land Act, 1909, to Apirana Pahina for twenty-one years at a rental equal to 5 per cent. on the Government valuation, with right of renewal or compensation for improvements.”
