APPLICATIONS will be received up till noon on the 10th August, 1915, for the position of Clerk, Public Service Commissioner’s Office.

  1. Applications must be addressed to the Secretary to the Public Service Commissioner, Wellington, and must embrace a statement of education and experience, particulars of age, &c.

  2. The essential qualifications are—
    (a.) To have passed the Senior Examination.
    (b.) To have special experience in staff work and correspondence.

  3. The appointment will be subject to the provisions of the Public Service Act, 1912.

  4. The position will be graded in the Clerical Division, Class VII. Salary to be considered in connection with present salary.

APPLICATIONS will be received by the undersigned up till noon on the 21st August, 1915, for the position of Packer Storeman, Public Works Department, Auckland.

  1. Applications (to be made on form P.S.C. 17A, obtainable at principal post-offices) must be addressed to the Secretary to the Public Service Commissioner, Wellington, and must embrace a statement of education and experience, particulars of age, &c.

  2. Applicants should show that they possess—
    (a.) A knowledge of contractors’ tools and hardware;
    (b.) Experience in classifying, storing, and packing same.

The appointment will be subject to the provisions of the Public Service Act, 1912.

The position will be graded in the General Division. Salary, £150; maximum, £160.

APPLICATIONS will be received by the undersigned up till noon on the 14th August, 1915, from officers of the Public Service, for the position of Chief Examiner, Public Trust Office, Wellington.

  1. Applications must be made on forms obtainable from the Permanent Head of the Public Trust Office Department or from the Secretary to the Public Service Commissioner.

  2. Applicants must have had practical experience in the preparation of trustee and executorship accounts.

  3. Applicants must have passed the Public Service Senior Examination, and must possess a general knowledge of accountancy work and of the law of trustees and executors.

The position will be graded in the Clerical Division, Class IV. Salary, £330; maximum, £370.

Applications invited for the Position of Overseer, Public Works Department, Kawhia.

Office of Public Service Commissioner,
Wellington, 27th July, 1915.

APPLICATIONS will be received by the undersigned up till noon on the 21st August, 1915, for the position of Overseer, Public Works Department, Kawhia.

  1. Applications must be addressed to the Secretary to the Public Service Commissioner, Wellington, and must embrace a statement of education and experience, particulars of age, &c.

  2. Applicants must have had experience in the handling of considerable numbers of men employed upon the construction of roads, and in the supervision of similar work being constructed by contractors. Roadworks will include formation and metalling, and the erection of small bridges.

The appointment will be subject to the provisions of the Public Service Act, 1912.

The position will be graded in the General Division. Salary, £190 per annum.
